After James Comey’s Senate Intelligence Committee appearance last Thursday, his testimony was described by observers on the Right as “Comey’s Crisis,” “Comey’s Credibility Problem,” and the like.
Not so with the Left. For the swamp-controlled media, what actually happened didn’t matter.
The headline in The Washington Post on June 8 was, “James Comey Lays Out the Case that President Trump Obstructed Justice.” Except that those who saw the proceedings that day know Comey did no such thing.
Media frenzy built rapidly. MSNBC’s Chris Matthews chimed in: “Nixon, he was trying to protect his presidency. Trump is trying to defend his butt.”
Brian Stelter of CNN happily pronounced, with a broad grin, “Russian propaganda outlets are loving this today.” (What about CNN’s propaganda outlets?)
