If This Was Really About Lives…

According to the CDC and Indiana Mortality Report for 2015, 2016 and 2017, the following represents the averages of deaths by cause in the United States and in the State of Indiana.

America has a population of about 325.7 million people. 2.6 million people die annually which is approximately 0.82% of the entire U.S. population.

Indiana has a population of about 6.667 million people. Approximately 62,713 people die annually in Indiana, which is about 0.95% of the population of the Hoosier state.

As stated above, approximately 2.6 million deaths occur in the U.S. annually, while approximately 62,713* recorded deaths occur in Indiana annually. There are reportedly 10 leading causes of death which make up nearly 75% of all deaths across the board.

  1. Suicide – U.S. 1.6% (42,773 people), IN 1.4% (878)
    9. Kidney Disease – U.S. 1.8% (48,146 people), IN 1.7% (1,066)
    8. Influenza and Pneumonia – U.S. 2.1% (55,227 people), IN 2.15% (1,348)
    7. Diabetes– U.S. 2.9% (76,488 people), IN 2.9% (1,819)

    3. Chronic Lower Respiratory Disease – U.S. 5.6% (147,101 people), IN 5.7% (3,637)
    2. Cancer – U.S. 22.5% (591,699 people), IN 22% (13,797)
    1. Heart Disease – U.S. 23.4% (614,348 people), IN 23.3% (14,612)

Interesting facts: So far, nationally in 2018, approximately 15 people have been killed using their lawnmower, 32 have died by a falling tree, 131 have died by falling out of bed, 172 have died while smoking in bed, 322 have died from domestic violence, 611 have died from malnutrition, 771 have died by fire, 862 have drowned, 1,101 pedestrians have died, 1,319 have died while texting and driving, 2,532 people have been murdered by gun, 3,304 have died from prescription drug overdose, 3,701 have died from homicide, 5,508 have died from drug abuse, 6,996 have died from unintentional poisoning, 7,448 have died from drunk driving, 9423 committed suicide, 7,372 have died from infection in the blood, 9,420 have died from kidney failure, 12,166 have died from influenza or pneumonia, Alzheimer’s has killed 20,607, diabetes has killed 16,851, alcohol has killed 22,030, 21,810 have died from hospital related infections, 29,973 have died in unintentional accidents, over 31,500 have died from lower respiratory disease, over 29,300 have died from stroke, more than 55,400 people have died from medical errors, over 67,700 have been overtaken by obesity, tobacco has taken the lives of more than 77,100 people, cancer has killed more than 131,000 people, heart disease has killed more than 136,000 people… and abortion has already murdered more than 250,000 defenseless babies.

Abortion has taken the lives of more than one-and-a-half times more people than heart disease, nearly two times more people than cancer, and nearly TEN TIMES… yes, TEN TIMES the number of people killed by guns… in  just the first 3 months of 2018.

Over 2,000, or nearly 10% of those babies murdered by abortion were killed in Indiana, and approximately 6,000 more babies will be murdered in Indiana this year alone due to current legislation and state abortion averages.

In 2014, approximately 8,180 abortions took place in Indiana, with 7,957 in 2015, 7,277 in 2016, and the CDC has not released the numbers yet for 2017, but they do not include babies who were chemically aborted. The anticipated number of aborted babies in 2017 is between 7,800 and 8,200.

*Indiana’s average of 62,713 deaths above does not include the approximate number of abortions that take place each year. If included, Indiana would top out above 70,000 deaths per year.

Since Roe v. Wade in January of 1973, more than 63 million… that’s 63,000,000 babies have been murdered. That’s more than 10 times the number of Jews killed by Hitler in the holocaust.

As listed above, among the highest death rates in our nation and our state are heart disease and cancer, both of which are treatable illnesses (treated to the tune of nearly $800 billion a year). Hospitals, doctors, and nurses work around the clock to at least try to save the lives of those who have taken ill in these manners… which makes the leading preventable cause of death in this nation and in this state – you guessed it – abortion.

While people in today’s indoctrinated, television-influenced, and greatly deceived culture march and protest in the streets shouting catchy phrases like “Black Lives Matter”, “White Lives Matter”, “Blue Lives Matter”, “Student Lives Matter”, “All Lives Matter”, and “My Life Matters”, truth be told; the number of lives that are taken in this country by abortion far exceed the lives that are taken by gun.

So where is the protest? Where is the outcry to ban the embryotomy scissors? Where is the push for legislation for scissor-control?

Image result for embryotomy scissorsAre the fraction of lives lost in school shootings more important than the (TEN TIMES the amount of) lives lost in abortion clinics? Do the lives of these precious little ones not matter enough to protest this butchering bloodbath that towers in comparison to lives lost via bullet?

If you want to walk out of your school, job, or business to protest or march against the heinous and preventable loss of lives, start with the greatest loss. Start with the lives of those who are being aborted every year.

If it were really about lives, protesters en masse would line the streets daily for the lives of these babies. But it’s not really about lives, is it?

It’s really an act, a farce, a deception. Don’t be fooled. For those who continue to push this agenda, it’s not about lives at all, it’s really all about our constitutionally-protected right to own guns.
