The ‘Witch Hunt’ Expands: Collusion Farce Fails; Anything Goes – by Jim Bratten

Early in the morning of April 9, FBI agents staged coordinated raids at the home, office, and hotel room of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

Files, records and communication equipment were seized from all three locations; the agents confiscated everything.

Even though Cohen had nothing to do with the Trump presidential campaign, the presidential transition team, or Trump’s first year as president, he’s Trump’s attorney so he’s fair game. This unprecedented raid wasn’t about Cohen; it was about finding anything on Donald Trump.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller didn’t want this attack on attorney-client privilege to stick to him so he arranged for the U.S. attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York to do the dirty work. Mueller referred a criminal investigation to the SDNY federal prosecutor’s office even though he had no evidence of any crime. They are looking for some, as in the investigation of Donald Trump for Russian collusion.

When Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel there was no crime identified; it was an intelligence investigation. Or so they said. Without a crime to investigate there was no reason for a special counsel, but freshly-fired Jim Comey set the stage for one and Rosenstein granted his wish.

According to The Washington Post, the reason the FBI searched Cohen’s private records is they’re trying to find evidence of bank fraud and illegal campaign contributions. A $130,000 payment to a porn star (Stormy Daniels, for a supposed tryst 12 years ago) is now, in Mueller’s eyes, an “illegal campaign contribution.”

There exists a two-tiered justice system and it seems apparent that Special Counsel Mueller’s team of Democrat politicos (masked as attorneys) has one objective: the removal and ruination of President Donald Trump. They don’t seek to simply reverse and negate the election results of 2016, nullifying a legal presidential election; they are out to destroy Trump politically and financially, by whatever means necessary.

Contrary to what Robert Mueller told Trump’s lawyers, Donald Trump IS the target. Everything Mueller and Rosenstein are doing says so. And Trump has an invalid attorney general in Jeff Sessions who sits dormant in this fight to save a presidency from a not-so-silent coup attempt.

The effort by top-tier management members of the U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies has been, and remains to this day, entirely political. But the Mueller team is getting desperate. As their frustration grows and they push the boundaries as they did in the Cohen break-in, boldly violating the attorney-client privilege of confidentiality, more and more Americans are agreeing with President Trump’s view of this entire exercise. It is a politically-motivated “witch hunt.”

Violating the attorney-client privilege is the latest shock effort to force Trump to fire Mueller and, potentially, Rod Rosenstein. Both men should go, but that will hurt Trump politically within the Swamp, which is fighting for its very existence, as is Donald Trump in his pledge to drain it. And this battle is not about “getting along” or compromising; it’s about winning the battle for the American Restoration.

The Swamp-controlled media has been beating a drum for months, pushing innuendo that Trump plans to fire Mueller.

Don’t fire anyone, President Trump, even though you have the power constitutionally. As Rush Limbaugh suggested last week on-air, “You don’t have to fire anybody. Just grant everybody pardons.”
