According to research done by the organization National Gang Intelligence, MS-13 is a violent, transnational criminal organization, originating in El Salvador but spreading rapidly across the U.S. in the last fifteen years and tied to drug cartels. It’s estimated that there are now over 30,000 members world-wide; at least 10,000 in the U.S. Their motto, “Kill, Rape, Control,” is exercised religiously. MS-13 activities have been recorded in at least 40 states and the District of Columbia and usually involve rape, torture, or murder. MS-13 savages are known for their preferred weapon, the machete, their victims’ heads severed and their bodies quartered, or worse.
Their members are mostly illegal aliens but many are immigrant Salvadorans. They assign no value to human life and many “chapters” require prospective members to kill first; acceptance into the organization comes after the murder is confirmed. “Bloodthirsty barbarians” has been said to be an apt description, as have colorful profanities. Those who have seen the human carnage done by MS-13 would have to search for a description severe enough.
Since TPS (Temporary Protected Status) was instituted years ago, 200,000 Salvadorans were given TPS status to remain here in the U.S. – temporarily. Among them were dozens of MS-13 members, arriving with the refugees, after their nation was decimated by earthquakes in 2001. Their numbers have grown exponentially through recruitment. The damage to their nation has been repaired, so it’s time for them to return; the “temporary” status to end. But Democrats don’t think so. The Salvadorans can be future Democrat voters. In the Democrat rule book, nothing is so permanent as that which is temporary, including MS-13 savages. To the Left, all’s fair in identity politics and gang warfare.
Sadly, the MS-13 trail of blood doesn’t translate for Democrats and their U.S. Pravda media. No sooner had President Trump’s comments describing MS-13 as “animals” left his lips than the press propaganda wheels churned out vitriol… the Left defending the MS-13 gang members and blasting President Trump for his insensitivity in misnaming the savages.
On May 16 the Huffington Post blurted: “Trump Refers to Immigrants as ‘Animals.’ Again.” A New York Times headline on May 17 read: “Trump Rants on Unauthorized Migrants: ‘These Aren’t People, These Are Animals.’” The New York Daily News headline shouted: “Trump Hurls Pure Hate at Immigrants.”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) chimed in, tweeting: “When all of our great-great-grandparents came to America they weren’t ‘animals,’ and these people weren’t either.” (It’s really sad that some senators can’t master distinction…)
The show “New Day” on CNN sunk even lower: “A very slippery slope when you start dehumanizing people this way. It’s what the Nazis did. It’s what slave owners did. It’s not what Americans do.” How can one even dignify those comments?
“Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC noted that, “President Trump, dashing out during an immigration roundtable at the White House… stirring controversy over his harsh rhetoric toward immigrants, branding them animals during the discussion with state and local leaders on so-called sanctuary laws…” Yes, immigrants equal animals, at least in the press translation.
Trump’s label of MS-13 members as animals turned out to be apropos last week, when an MS-13 savage was sentenced to 40 years for murder. And the criminal alien’s nickname? Animal.
