Evansville’s Jeremy Heath Announces Write-In Candidacy for Secretary of State

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

I am running as write-in Candidate for Indiana Secretary of State in order to provide Hoosiers with the option of ACTION.

We’ve seen the inaction of career politician incumbents. We’ve seen the inaction and downright negligence of party leadership in their attempts at the bare minimum to skate by election after election.

Connie Lawson

Currently we’re even watching the Republic party run a candidate that cannot constitutionally finish the term she is running for as she is procedurally ineligible. They are hoping to win and then handpick her replacement when she resigns in a year and a half in order take a lucrative private sector job as a lobbyist.

You read that right.

They think Hoosiers can’t be trusted to actually vote for who they want to run, so Connie Lawson is just their political placeholder so that they can handpick their shadow placement without public opinion getting in the way. They are hoping to continue the long streak of inaction.

Folks, this year can be different. I promise you action and accountability.

First, I promise Action in protecting Hoosier Elections! Once elected, I will investigate the Indiana Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton for any attempt at rigging the Indiana Primary against Bernie Sanders.

I will investigate any chance that Hoosier elections were tampered with by ANY foreign agency, and I promise to investigate exactly WHY the US Department of Homeland Security attempted to Hack Hoosier election databases, and hold those who gave such order accountable.

It WILL be known that Hoosiers will not tolerate having their will subverted for anything, by anyone.

I promise to fight to open Hoosier elections to all Hoosiers, regardless of their party affiliation. The archaic ballot laws that prevent smaller parties to realistically get on the ballots need to be scrapped forever. Once we do this, ALL Hoosiers can have a voice in the elections and not just the Republican and Democrat Demagogues!

I promise to fight the predatory lending practices of the US Department of Education and their College loan lobbyist cohorts. If we can put an end to the ridiculous cycle of rising tuition, coupled with outrageous student loan payments and end the debt slavery that hangs over the heads of Millions Americans, let it be said the battle was first won in Indiana.

This may seem like quite the list of promises, but when faced with the lack of definitive action, there is quite frankly a lot of catch up work we need to do. And this will just be the start.

Write-in Jeremy Heath for Indiana Secretary of State in November if you want to finally see things get done.

Write-in Heath in November to take back whats ours.

Jeremy Heath describes himself as a happy husband, a blessed father, a proud Hoosier, and an unrepentant American. Jeremy was raised in Royal Center, Indiana, were he graduated from Pioneer Jr. Sr. High School. After high school, he attended – and graduated from- the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana where he currently lives with his wife and three children. Jeremy currently serves as a Case Manager with Volunteers of America, a nonprofit that serves Hoosiers from every corner of the state and from all walks of life.

Jeremy Heath has long fought against the political establishment on both sides of the aisle including a State Representative run against a career politician on the left and a State Senate run against a career politician on the right, all the while attempting to provide for his family. As a write-in candidate for Secretary of State for Indiana, he hopes to take the fight against the establishment to a whole new level.

Understanding the Write-In Candidacy

A write-in candidate is a candidate in an election whose name does not appear on the ballot, but for whom voters may vote nonetheless by writing in the person’s name. The system is almost totally confined to elections in the United States. Some U.S. states and local jurisdictions allow a voter to affix a sticker, with the write-in candidate’s name, to the ballot in lieu of actually writing in the candidate’s name. Write-in candidacies are sometimes a result of a candidate being legally or procedurally ineligible to run under his or her own name or party; write-in candidacies may be permitted where term limits bar an incumbent candidate from being officially nominated for, or being listed on the ballot for, re-election. – Wikipedia.com
