Getting ‘Googled’: A Ministry of Information? – by Jim Bratten

Google’s been called the “ideological echo chamber.” Google executives who met with members of the Obama administration once per week for the entire eight years of the Obama Regime, to develop controls for information access, confirm the label.

In their suppression of information, Google takes a political line, as a matter of policy. They want to be transformative” (there’s that Obama campaign term again) but don’t divulge what their goals really are. Google’s algorithms are manipulated for political reasons and data collection is a priority, as in all social media platforms.

Welcome to former President Barack Obama’s “Ministry of Information.”

Handily, a video recorded at Google headquarters after Hillary Clinton’s election loss in 2016, uncovered by Breitbart, tells us all we need to know about Google’s ideological bent.

In the video, Google co-founder Sergey Brin revealed that, “Most people here are pretty upset and pretty sad… because of the election but, on a more serious note, myself, as an immigrant and refugee, I certainly find this election deeply offensive and I know many of you do, too. I think it’s a very stressful time, ah, and it conflicts with many of our values…”

What “values”? Here’s a company that worked with the Red Chinese for many years and has a new app to control speech unacceptable to the Chinese government. Google is censoring free speech under demands from China, yet they refuse to share artificial intelligence (AI) developments with the U.S. Defense Department.

Google execs were really dismayed at the results from the Latino vote in the 2016 election. After putting massive investment into steering Latino voters toward Hillary Clinton (“Voto Latino”), they discovered 29% of those voters went for Trump. One Google rep was incensed that those Latinos didn’t vote for Hillary, “as they were told.”

“People are leaving, staff is crying, we’re gonna lose,” said Ruth Porat, Google CFO, recalling the atmosphere at a gathering of Google employees at its corporate headquarters on election night. Fighting back tears, she continued, “Ah… that was the first moment I really felt like we were gonna lose…” The assembly had became one large “safe space” as Ruth instructed her snowflakes, “Everybody, if you could turn around; go to the person next to you, and do a hug… it works.” Hillary lost, so they needed to hug and comfort one another. Then Ruth assured them, “Our values are strong, we will fight to protect them, and we will use the great strength and resources which we have, to continue to advance really important values.” (Like inclusion and respect, according to Ruth.)

But it goes far deeper than consoling snowflake employees who found a president-elect offensive or distasteful and cried. Google execs are incensed that Donald Trump opposes their globalist agenda as president, so they decided to conspire against the people, shutting off access to any alternatives to the progressive agenda. Facts are bad; progressive dogma is good.

Back on February 7, when CNBC examined Google’s involvement in steering the elections toward Hillary Clinton, they interviewed Tristan Harris, a former Google employee. Harris explained Google’s agenda in terms even the Propaganda Press understands. “When you shape people’s attention, you’re shaping their thoughts… so you’re really shaping society… shaping culture… shaping elections. There’s a whole set of consequences when you shape people’s attention through design.”

We now face search manipulation based on political ideology. Sadly, you won’t find coverage of Google’s devious control of information in your local news sources or even on popular news websites.

It’s become obvious that Google’s progressive values don’t coincide with those shared by a majority of Americans, particularly in the steering of elections.
