Here are several issues that received a yawn from the Propaganda Press recently or weren’t even covered. They just report what they think you “need to know.”
Backfire on the “Creepy Porn Lawyer”
Congratulations to Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, for his action referring attorney Michael Avenatti (named the “Creepy Porn Lawyer” by Tucker Carlson of the Fox News Channel) to the DOJ for investigation of possible perjury charges (and others) related to the Kavanaugh hearings. Mr. Avenatti was attorney for Julie Swetnick, an accuser of Judge Kavanaugh.
Grassley referred Avenatti and Swetnick for criminal investigation concerning the following statutes:
• 18 US Code §1001 – False statements to Congress made under oath
• 18 US Code §1505 – Obstruction of a congressional investigation
• 18 US Code §371 – Conspiracy
These are the criminal charges to start. As the investigation proceeds, more violations may become apparent.
It’s a necessary step to stop frivolous accusations against nominees and candidates for federal government positions, as those done against Brett Kavanaugh by Avenatti and Swetnick. Needless disruptions of confirmation proceedings must stop, as must the perverted, baseless character assassinations launched by Democrats.
A Message Sent
President Trump has repeatedly stood up to Russia since his inauguration, but his last action is the strongest to date. Trump has reactivated the U.S. Navy’s Second Fleet, established after World War II to be a check on Soviet shenanigans in the North Atlantic. President Trump’s action will restore pressure on Putin’s expansionist overtures in that region.
The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN75) is the flagship of Carrier Strike Group Eight (CSG-8), operating in the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. For the first time in nearly thirty years, since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, a U.S. aircraft carrier has entered the Arctic Circle.
The Second Fleet was deactivated by President Obama in his efforts to shrink the U.S. military, selling his ridiculous red reset button to Russia as he pulled back from commitments in Eastern Europe. After the deactivation of the fleet, Russia became more aggressive, increasing its naval activity in the Arctic, Baltic, and North Atlantic.
Of course, Trump’s message to Russia will be ignored by the media and we can expect the constant screaming of “Russia collusion!” and “Putin’s puppet!” by crazed followers of John Brennan, CNN and others to continue unabated.
With this action, Trump sent another message: The days of a military run by 1960s-vintage leftist academics are over.
New Victim Group
As a result of the sexual assault accusations launched against Brett Kavanaugh, a new “victim group” for Democrats has been created: the Community of Survivors.
This new collection of victims was determined to destroy Kavanaugh, despite the fact that the FBI, after the seventh investigation into the life of Kavanaugh, found no corroboration for Dr. Christine Ford’s claims of abuse nor evidence in the incredulously absurd claims of others.
The single-minded intimidation by the “community” did not abate, driven by hatred through the new #MeToo agenda, now politicized for use as a Democrat weapon to destroy their opponents. The intimidation and harassment failed, however, and Kavanaugh was confirmed as the newest justice on the Supreme Court.
Their mantras are “Believe all women!” and “We believe survivors!” That is, except for accusers of Bill Clinton, Elliot Spitzer, Al Franken, John Conyers, Jesse Jackson, and the former girl friend of DNC second-in-command, Rep. Keith Ellison.
