Back in early February, 2018 former president George W. Bush was in Dubai and took the opportunity to trash President Trump for ending DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). Trump needed to do this because it was never passed into law, done as an unconstitutional “executive declaration.” What Barack Obama did was illegal.
Bush also bolstered the Democrats’ faux Russian meddling case. Where was he during the authoritarian Obama Regime? Silent – allowing constitutional abuse to accelerate virtually unchecked. And does he regret his comments about Vladimir Putin when he said he “knew what was in his heart”? Bush violated his policy on Obama when he demeaned Trump on foreign soil. But an outsider cannot be tolerated by establishment, status quo Republicans. He’s not one of them. As Romney exhibits with Bush, Rove, and others, globalist Republicans work for Trump’s demise.
Democrats wanted Comey fired (they were outraged at what he did to Hillary just before the election in 2016), so they could accuse Trump of obstruction and use that as a reason to impeach him. Republican leadership (especially anti-Trumpers) didn’t bat an eye, completely suckered into the Democrat plot to get rid of Trump.
Subpoenas issued for DOJ documents were long overdue in 2017 and 2018 or never complied with. All these docs were due in Congress two weeks after the date the subpoena was issued. GOP leadership sat on their hands. Trump tried to order the declassification of FISA and other documents relating to the Russian collusion hoax, but Republican leadership advised against it. Many Republican House and Senate committee chairs have been comatose for two years in the Mueller probe, which is patently unconstitutional, since Mueller was never confirmed by the Senate. His impeachment “task force” is therefore illegal. No objections have been seen from GOP leadership. To the contrary, some Republican senators have attempted to protect the farcical Mueller probe.
An AWOL GOP leadership simply refuses to fight back against Democrats, oblivious to what they really want – a GOP demise.
