American media, once known as the “free press,” has become completely corrupted; abandoning truth and facts for ideology, convenience, and sensationalism. They are sickeningly clueless, still not understanding the reasons why Donald Trump was elected president – why voters supported him in the numbers they did and continue to. Ignorant, they really don’t care.
President Trump stands for things that, in our nation, used to be widely accepted; understood as normal behavior, traditional ideas, etc. – what America always should represent. This is why the Propaganda Press, the establishment leadership of both major political parties and, more broadly, our popular culture and institutions, shun him and even seek to destroy him. Trump gives many Americans a chance to cheer for something again. But the elected “elite” fight him every day – fight against America as Founded. This is the story. But the press is not about the story; they only care about predetermined conclusions.
Sadly, our media invents stories that a vast number of Americans swallow whole, never questioning the false narratives.
February 28, the media’s obsession to destroy Trump was nakedly evident. That day, according to NewsBusters.org, CNN and MSNBC spent a total of 428 minutes of airtime covering Michael Cohen’s testimony before a congressional committee, compared to a total of 12 minutes on the Trump-Kim summit in Hanoi, Vietnam. Embarrassing President Trump was far more important than advancing an agreement to restrict the nuclear capability of a barbaric, communist despot.
Coverage of the Cohen testimony exposed the Propaganda Press. It idolizes him – the “best witness” in their crusade to rid America of Trump. “I was really proud of him… he’s had the world against him… he never lost his cool.” This sort of hero worship echoed across the major networks.
The press ignored the face-off between two nuclear powers, Pakistan and India, to focus on hatred of Trump. They dismissed the negotiations between North Korea and the U.S. in Hanoi (until they could blast Trump for something he said or did that they detested). Consensus among the Propaganda Press is that he failed, regardless what was said or done. Instead, they drooled over a corrupt Democrat prop.
But Cohen gave the Democrats nothing after his dyslexic testimony. And, as a result of what he revealed during the hearing, Cohen has possibly opened new legal problems for himself. According to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), there are now new questions regarding violations of FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act).
More egg will soon be on the media’s face for promoting a false narrative in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Last week, the Washington Examiner announced in a headline, “Court to Unseal Christopher Steele Deposition.” This may embarrass the media for what they ignored or intentionally didn’t investigate, one can only hope.
The once-honored role of investigative journalist no longer exists in media, with few exceptions. That breed is almost extinct in most newsrooms across our country. “Journalism” has been replaced with a progressive agenda to change the world. The National Inquirer is now more reliable for factual reporting than the New York Times, Washington Post, and dozens of other pulp media. Broadcast and cable media are even worse, using the 24/7 news cycle to dupe Harry Potter and romance novel fans.
Our press is no longer “free.” It’s a progressive machine, CNN omnipresent, wholly owned by socialist Democrats.
