Driven by Hatred & Rage, Wait for the… Impeachment Implosion – by Jim Bratten

Fraudulent impeachment accusations have been declared, one after another, since the day after Donald Trump was elected president in 2016. Even though it’s all political, the hatred and rage have become a psychosis, fueling violence and further corruption in a major political party.

When this latest attempt at impeachment was announced as approved for investigation by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), it was based on another hoax, built upon a phone conversation that a leaker never heard and on a transcript of the call that no one had read.

Democrats’ push for impeachment of Trump is based on no wrongdoing and no crime, or evidence of anything related to the two. Reasons invented for the impeachment of President Trump are smoke and mirrors – nothing solid or tangible. But lack of facts doesn’t stop the psychosis train.

Speaker Pelosi, in front of a NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) gathering recently, said that the impeachment of Trump has to do with “patriotism.”

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) said it’s time for a “party be damned” attitude. He declared this “impeachment isn’t political,” though this impeachment is completely political, since there is no evidence for impeachment based on constitutional reasons.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) came out in favor of proceeding with an impeachment investigation of President Trump, saying that, if it passes the House and moves to the Senate, both of them would vote for impeachment. But wouldn’t that be a huge conflict of interest?

They should recuse themselves from voting on impeachment if it reaches the Senate, as should any other sitting Democrat senator campaigning for president in 2020. As political opponents of President Trump in an election, these Democrats have a conflict of interest in getting rid of Trump. Will their decision to impeach be based on the law or their political futures? Along with Warren and Sanders, the recusal list includes Senators Cory Booker, Michael Bennet (D-CO), Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Kamala Harris (D-CA). All echoed the media’s comparison of Trump to Tony Soprano, related Trump to a mob boss, and eagerly accused Trump of being Mafia-like.

However, there has not been a single vote called on the House floor for impeachment. So, in effect, there is no official “impeachment,” only a loose investigation where anything goes. Once more, an effort is being made to create a political weapon to bludgeon the president into quitting the office, or politically damaging him going into the 2020 presidential election.

The Washington Post headline on September 27 read: “New poll shows limited support for removing Trump from office.” The article dealt with a new Quinnipiac University Poll which simply asked, “Do you think President Donald Trump should be impeached?” Of 1,337 voters polled, 37% said “Yes” and 57% said “No.” Yet the Post reported “limited support.” Isn’t that slightly disingenuous? They should have described the poll results as “little support” or “lack of support,” but the narrative wouldn’t allow it. Democrats insist that a majority of Americans want impeachment.

The clock is running out. Since they have no capability to defeat Trump in the 2020 presidential election, impeachment is their only hope to unseat Trump. And they’re really desperate.

During all of this, Rasmussen reports the president’s popularity has reached 53%. Even Republicans Mitt Romney and Justin Amash can’t stop the implosion now.
