Ineptitude – by Jim Bratten

Jim Bratten

Or is it simple incompetence? In nine hours, 200 conservative volunteers cleared 50 tons of trash from the homeless encampments in downtown Los Angeles, hauling away the used drug syringes, discarded garbage and human waste.

This is an accomplishment that Los Angeles city officials, with all their staff and manpower, have not been able to do.

Well, they’re not unable. It seems that it’s neither ineptitude nor incompetence. It’s simply indifference. They don’t care.

“Social justice” in Los Angeles is foremost. City officials believe that, just because one walks on the sidewalks or drives on the streets and pays for the upkeep of those sidewalks and streets with their taxes, it doesn’t mean that drug abusers, the mentally ill, homeless or incapacitated in a variety of ways, can’t flock from other states to live on those same Los Angeles sidewalks.

If you are a taxpaying Los Angelino, you aren’t a victim.
