The headline at FoxNews.com read: “Durham’s Investigation into Possible FBI Misconduct is now Criminal Probe, Sources Say.” The “administrative review” has become a “criminal probe.” Prosecutorial abuses under the Mueller investigation, and before, were legion. And, it appears, the FBI “pushed” charges upon an American citizen – Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
The Inspector General’s report, investigating spying and FISA abuse against the Trump campaign, also nears completion. According to sources, indictments are expected.
Democrat congressmen Jerrold Nadler (NJ) and Adam Schiff (CA), chairmen of the House Judiciary and House Intelligence Committees respectively, upon hearing that the DOJ investigation into the origins of the Russia Hoax had enough evidence to begin a criminal probe, issued this statement concerning the action by the DOJ:
“If the Department of Justice may be used as a tool of political retribution, or to help the President with a political narrative for the next election, the rule of law will suffer new and irreparable damage.
“These reports… raise profound new concerns that the Department of Justice under Attorney General William Barr has lost its independence and become a vehicle for President Trump’s political revenge.”
Democrats dread the prospects of criminal indictments, so their new “projection” strategy has begun in earnest. An “amazing amount of projection,” said Molly Hemingway of The Federalist, referring to the Democrats’ sudden explosion of accusations against the Trump administration. The DOJ, FBI and intelligence agencies were weaponized and politicized – drastically so – but during the Obama administration.
This investigation is moving forward only because this president and his attorney general have the courage to take on the Deep State and push back against corruption. If Trump and Barr were run-of-the-mill Republican politicians, the “probe” wouldn’t happen.
Hopefully, justice may be near for Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Hillary Clinton, and the rest of the seditious Democrats.
