PC Madness – Jim Bratten

Jim Bratten

The mayor of Florence, Italy urged his citizens to hug the Chinese living within their city. There was even a video circulating that featured a “Chinese man” repeating the phrase, “I’m not a virus, hug me,” to people he met as he worked his way through crowds in Florence – smiling, shaking hands, and hugging people.

Now, there are thousands of fatalities across that nation with millions in mortal danger, thanks to the Wuhan flu virus. Political correctness is never a healthy way to greet a deadly flu virus.

Thankfully for Italian health, the PC mayor of Florence wasn’t around during the Hong Kong flu virus of 1968 – or during other contagious diseases like the German measles, West Nile virus, or Japanese encephalitis.
