Health Experts’ Hypocrisy – by Jim Bratten

Jim Bratten

Last week, the hypocrisy exploded.

We now find that the “health experts,” the same officials who urged everyone to stay inside, locked down; told us to practice physical distancing and wear face masks; who shut down “non-essential” businesses and created 40 million unemployed; who closed the schools and spread baseless fear… tell us proudly that they support the massive antipolice protests in progressive cities:

“As public health advocates, we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission… This should not be confused with a permissive stance on all gatherings, particularly protests against stay-home orders. Those actions not only oppose public health interventions, but are also rooted in white nationalism and run contrary to respect for black lives.”

Anyone who complains about being locked down is a racist, as are those who complain about those who violate the lockdown orders. You’re a racist if you do; you are a racist if you don’t.

We were told that viruses are dangerous when spread in churches, but aren’t when spread inside supermarkets or drugstores. And now we know that viruses aren’t considered dangerous at mass protests.

Over 1,000 “health experts” signed a letter stating that protests and demonstrations are “vital to public health.” Those same so-called experts also tell you that businesses have to remain closed and you should stay indoors. That is, unless you will be protesting racist police brutality with thousands of other health-conscious people.

These experts also say that “social justice” is more important than “social distancing.” But they haven’t ruled which is more effective: N95 filtered face masks or the identity-hiding bandanas of Antifa thugs.

A perfect sample of the lunacy we are seeing from our so-called “health experts” was exhibited by a New York City public health official named Mark Levine, tweeting this nonsense last week: “Let’s be clear about something: if there is a spike in coronavirus cases in the next two weeks, don’t blame the protesters. Blame racism.”
