“Where Did All the Children Go?”: Part 4 – by Charlotte Martin

Charlotte Martin

These days nearly everyone who is on Facebook seems to be talking about the sexual exploitation and sex trafficking of children. So, if you have been reading this series of stories about “Where Did All the Children Go?”, you probably guessed that would come up eventually.

Many people have been watching or attempting to stomach “Cuties” on Netflix just to see if it is as horrible as others say it is. The Netflix original shows 11-year-old girls and girls of similar age in skimpy outfits who apply sexually-provocative stripper-style pole-dance-type routines to their adolescent dance team, and perform their humping, gyrating, finger-sucking, erotic “dance” moves for adults in the audience while the camera angles zoom in on their crotches, butts, and chest. The show is rated MA for mature audiences and lists nudity of an underage female’s breasts as one of the reasons for the mature rating.

Even people who are not on FB have learned from news accounts about all the child sex traffickers that have been arrested since Trump became president. At least ten times more child sex traffickers have been arrested under President Trump’s administration, than under the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations combined.

These arrests skyrocketed after a whistle-blower told Melania about the sex trafficking of children in foster care. Soon after that, President Trump signed the Families First Act, and more recently, the Families Forward Act. He launched the biggest investigation and overhaul of the child welfare/foster care system that has been done in 30 years. He recognized the fact that, while not all families are ideal, FAR MORE children have been sexually and physically abused in one foster care home after another.

Children have been dying at an alarming rate in foster care. By “dying”, I mean that far too often they were starved and beaten to death, like little 4-year-old Hunter Payton from Radcliffe, KY. I read about Hunter Payton in an Elizabethtown newspaper where one of the married men that were foster parents killed him. They had six foster care children.

Statistics show that children are six times more likely to be sexually abused in foster care homes than in homes with their own families, whether they are with parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles. Children are 20 times more likely to be sexually abused when taken away from parents and placed in group homes. It only takes common sense to realize that pedophiles try to get jobs where they have easy access to children. Your tax dollars or money you paid into Social Security pays these pedophiles $10,000 a month, plus bonuses when they take in six children at a time.

During the shutdown, a child managed to escape his foster home in Bell County, KY where two men married to each other who were the foster parents were filming child pornography, and one of the men was arrested.

We all probably know about Jennifer Hart who deliberately drove their van off a cliff in California and killed her wife and all six of their foster/adopted children.

This is not in any way, meant to disparage the many wonderful foster care/adoptive parents out there. I have decided that I will NOT watch the “Cuties” to see if it is as horrible as everyone is saying. I have seen enough from the pictures and descriptions to tell me all I need to know.

I did watch “Pizza Gate” and the 3-hour documentary, “The Fall of Cabal”. I knew that at least SOME of it was true, because I knew about the death of Sen. Nancy Schaeffer after she told about “The Corrupt Business of Child Welfare”. I also watched the televised meeting of the International Child Sex Trafficking Investigators who claimed that America is the worst country for child sex trafficking and that the main hub is through foster care.

I DID NOT KNOW about hardly any of this when a social worker and police officer showed up at my home one day. If I had, I would have been shaking in my shoes. I did not know then that the police ordinarily accompany a social worker ONLY IF they are there to remove a child! I also did NOT know then about Sen. Nancy Schaeffer or her report “The Corrupt Business of Child Welfare”.

It was months later before I knew about that. It was also months later when Gov. Rick Perry appointed Gigi Bryant to try to stop all the sexual and physical abuse of children in one foster care home after another in Texas. I almost certainly would have had a heart attack had I known then what I know now.

We had moved to Historic Old Kuttawa with Kuttawa Mountain right in front of our house, and Lake Barkley right behind us. We had an adorable little cottage-style house decorated with beautiful original oil paintings inside. However, that could not begin to compare to the incredible view outside our house. We stayed outside almost every minute of every day. School had started a week after my son’s birthday and had been in session a couple of weeks. We were outside on the porch when the social worker and police pulled up.

They walked through our gate and explained that the social worker had gotten a report that we had been seen outside when my child should be in school. I explained that I was homeschooling my child in 1st grade, and that he was not just playing with dinosaur cardboard cut-outs but showed them the book from which I was teaching him about dinosaurs. The social worker picked up a couple of his schoolbooks and a few of his Math-U-See pieces. They seemed satisfied, apologized for interrupting us and went on their way. I found this visit to be VERY strange. It was not at all strange for parents in Kentucky to have social workers called on them, but it normally happens right after they have made someone angry. I had not made anyone angry, to my knowledge.

The elementary school principal lived right behind our house. I introduced ourselves the very first day we started moving in and told them we were going to be their new neighbors. She told me that she would be seeing us at school. I told her that I would be homeschooling my child in 1st grade. The look she gave me seemed to be one of those “Are you stupid or what?” kind of looks, but it didn’t really seem to make her mad. On the other hand, she was not at all friendly toward us, so we left and went on our merry way to introduce ourselves to other neighbors.

She passed by our home every day on her way to school and on her way back home, but never once nodded or waved, or acknowledged our existence in any way. I have also learned since then that the police DO NOT typically accompany social workers, unless they plan to take your child. So, I shudder now to think about it. If they had found that we were NOT doing schoolwork, had they planned on taking him? What if it was lunch time, and we were simply outside eating, would they have taken him away from me?! Terrifying to even think about it!

Normally, when I think of pedophiles, I think of men with little girls. Now there are pedophiles who prefer little boys! Thinking about all this just gave me another piece to the puzzle as to my wondering “Where did all the children go?”.

I doubt if many foster parents with six children at a time, would get them out very often. It is expensive enough taking just one child to a carnival. I occasionally took one of my son’s friends with us to carnivals and festivals, and the cost of rides, snacks, drinks and games was staggering! This is a puzzle that WILL NEVER be totally put together because there are too many missing puzzle pieces.

We learned from “The Blind Side” that Michael Ohr ran away from one foster care home after another. But how many others truly ran away or perhaps were sex trafficked? We will NEVER know.

Dr. Phil showed some foster/adoptive children who were kept in dog cages and fed rotten food for years, and finally rescued by a sheriff. We will NEVER know how many others there may be kept in dog cages or locked away in closets or basements. We hear stories or rumors occasionally but cannot verify them.

We are supposed to be a nation of laws, and there are laws against child abuse/neglect or wanton endangerment of a child. When we actually were a nation of laws, parents who abused/neglected or endangered their children were arrested, and families or friends took care of the children. But the government decided that they knew best how to “protect” children and families, so they started taking children away from families and placing them where they believed they would be protected.

And once again, the government has decided that they know best how to protect children and families from Covid-19. And some believe that far more people have died from the government’s “protection” than from what they were protecting us from. Get out and vote before they decide to “protect” us from something else, like being able to vote without their help.
