A solicitation from the NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee), asked that I join the “STOP SCHUMER” effort to reelect two Republican senators from Georgia. “We’re asking you to help us STOP SCHUMER from implementing the Democrats’ radical agenda. We need to know if you’re on our side in this fight. Will you add your name today to stand with conservatives and help stop Schumer’s plans for a hostile liberal takeover of the Senate?” (Emphasis in the original.)
Nothing offends me more than hypocrisy. But at this juncture, there is no choice but to keep the Senate in Republican hands. So conservatives are forced to back two moderates. For decades, Republican leadership in the Senate has done little to “stop Schumer.” When it came time to push back against his numerous attacks on our republic, the Constitution and the rule of law, GOP leadership has weakly responded with “compromise.”
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) recently responded to a President Trump tweet with, “Time to delete your account.” Congressman Kinzinger, an anti-Trump Republican tired of Trump’s method for being heard over the Fake News din, reached for sarcasm, and immediately identified himself as a candidate ripe for primary election defeat in 2022.
We can visualize the unified Democrat-Socialist forces of destruction cresting a ridge on the field of political battle. Then we observe Republican leadership, flags cast to the ground as they scatter in fear. The only objects they clutch firmly as they flee from the advancing fascists are a few tattered banners, proclaiming “We aren’t Racists!” and “Stop Calling Us Names!”
When asked by Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, about why “the media” doesn’t cover the many videos exhibiting ballot fraud in the recent presidential election, and why they won’t show people stealing votes, Rudy Giuliani meekly responded, “I wish I knew.” What?
If Trump’s own lawyers refuse to make the connection between the Democrat Party and its propaganda arm, U.S. major media, then where do we look for those with the courage to publicly identify the obvious?
