The Purge: Big Tech & Deep State Join Forces – by Jim Bratten

A few days after the January 6 planned riot at the U.S. Capitol, Twitter suspended President Trump’s accounts permanently. He was also locked out of his official @POTUS account, and locked out of Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram, along with several other platforms, indefinitely.

That same day, Google and Apple removed Parler from their app stores and Amazon’s web hosting service refused to provide Parler any support, strangling the rising competitor to Twitter. Every Big Tech/social media company moved to destroy the new competitor, isolating the conservative-oriented Parler, which is now out of business.

Silicon Valley companies, almost in unison, began punishing Trump supporters, threatening Trump donors and even employees at the White House. Except for anti-trust lawsuits, it appears that Big Tech cannot be stopped now that Democrats own Congress. And Big Tech has carte blanche approval from the Deep State to go after any and all conservatives who question the upcoming radical Biden-Sanders agenda.

Big Tech’s “blanket immunity” is now a government-protected concession. The Big Tech giants cannot be sued for abuse of free speech or censorship across their platforms. Even German Chancellor Angela Merkel railed against the assault on free speech by U.S. tech companies and the support given by elected Democrats and the administration-in-waiting under Biden.

This widespread authoritarian censorship was foreseen by many conservatives and their media outlets, yet Republicans did nothing in Congress to stop it. Last October, when the New York Post ran the Hunter Biden laptop story, implicating Joe Biden in foreign deals with his son, Twitter suspended @TeamTrump (Trump campaign), cutting off 2.2 million followers. Facebook then followed suit. Then Twitter and Facebook censored anyone who shared the Post piece. Twitter even labeled links to the House Judiciary Committee as “unsafe” because of what Republican committee members posted. That started other suspensions of Trump’s Twitter account, his campaign account, and even those of White House staff. Republicans in Congress did nothing to arrest the abuse of the First Amendment and now Big Tech will be coming after them. The advantages these actions by Big Tech gave to the Biden presidential campaign were substantial. And now we see the gifts they will continue to give under Biden – massive censorship.

Publisher Simon & Schuster also joined the corporate mob and stepped on free speech. They canceled a contract to publish Senator Josh Hawley’s upcoming book, Tyranny and Big Tech, due out in June. Because he stood to object to the Electoral College certification of Biden and opposes the strong arm tactics of Silicon Valley despotism his book was killed.

At Harvard University, students recently called for the school to revoke diplomas of graduates who supported President Trump. The uneducated want to trash Trump’s legacy and destroy anyone who benefited from its success.

Trump supporters seen at the rally on January 6, identified by their posts on social media or photos in the press, are being singled out by activists on the Left and their employers notified. In just my local area, a man lost his insurance franchise and a nurse was fired from her job at a hospital,

because they were there. Neighbors are being asked to “turn in” other neighbors, reminiscent of Stalin’s tyranny.

Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson tweeted that, “…one party and much of the media are engaged in an increasingly organized effort to use private companies – not just tech companies, ALL private companies – to punish people for their political views.”

Censorship as retaliation against conservatives will spread across the country. The Political Purge of 2021 has begun.
