Back in February, after Trump Impeachment 2.0, Republican House members wrote a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi with five questions concerning the incident on January 6. Two are:
“When then-Chief [of the Capitol Hill Police] Sund made a request for National Guard support on January 4th, why was that request denied?”
And, “Why are your House officers refusing to comply with preservation and production requests to turn over requested materials to the events of January 6th?”
Months later, in May, there has been no response from Speaker Pelosi. Obviously, these are questions she can answer but prefers not to.
She’s in control, and her arrogance speaks volumes.
