Despite the Biden State Department’s declaration of “equivalency” between Israel and the Palestinian Authority in Gaza, there is emphatically NO moral equivalency between the two states, or has ever been.
Joe Biden appeased Hamas (who runs Gaza) earlier this year with $100 million in foreign aid and a lifting of all U.S. sanctions against the Palestinian Authority and Hamas put into place by President Trump. That money will not see the people living in Gaza; it will be spent on Iranian missiles and equipment to dig tunnels into Israel.
Now Democrats in Congress pledge $400 million to rebuild Gaza, after the military pummeling by Israel in response to ten days of missiles launched from Gaza upon Israel’s cities. Hamas will laugh all the way to the bank. A large order for more missiles from Iran to kill more Israelis is probably ready to send to the mullahs in Iran as soon as China clears the loan to Biden. Wouldn’t it be simpler for Joe to send a check (or pallets of cash under the cover of darkness as Obama did) directly to the mullahs in Iran to ship the pre-paid missiles to Hamas?
Biden is funding our enemies and ignoring the advances of others. Launching over 4,000 missiles into Israel over ten days can get you a nice foreign aid package from Democrats to clean up the mess you made attempting to kill your neighbor. That doesn’t sound like moral equivalency.
In any Islamist-driven “peace proposal,” as with the prior “two-state solutions,” one side, Israel, will cease to exist. But the Islamists’ plan to gradually push Israel into the Mediterranean Sea by concession after concession will fail, as long as Benjamin Netanyahu leads Israel. He’s tired of “conceding” property that Israel legally occupies for false PLA/Hamas treaties and cease-fires.
In every administration since President Jimmy Carter’s, with Camp David accords between Israel and the PLO/PLA, the Washington bureaucracy will only accept a “two-state solution,” which has turned out to be a one-sided, exhaustive failure.
In the minds of the PLA and Hamas, there is only a one-state solution.
