From the Womb to the Tomb – by Carolyn G. Gallagher

Carolyn G. Gallagher

Are you woke, or are you awake? You need to be alert, and ready to serve as the young men called the “Wide Awakes” were during the 1860 Presidential campaign of Abraham Lincoln.

In March 1860, five young dry goods clerks from Hartford, Connecticut, started a militaristic motif-style grassroots movement that grew across the nation to tens of thousands of men by November 1860. This was the first political organization of its kind. It sparked political participation in folks from east to west and north to south.

The “Wide Awakes,” were comprised of common workers. They campaigned for Abraham Lincoln, the Republican candidate. A network of these clubs sprouted and thrived in Democrat majority ruled cities.

Even right here in River City, progressives are “fundamentally transforming” our counties from a conservative, capitalistic foundation, to a big government, socialistic landscape. We will soon find ourselves relying on the federal government for housing, food, energy, education, employment, healthcare, and a guaranteed monthly stipend.

Monday, October 4, 2021, I attended the EVSC School Board meeting. First, I met with a school board trustee for 10 minutes at the pre-board meeting town hall so I could ask a question. In Vanderburgh County, the public does not have the privilege of standing at a podium before the entire school board and an audience of parents and interested citizens to ask our questions. These questions are not videotaped along with the rest of the school board meeting. No one knows what questions are asked nor the responses received.

While quietly listening to a parade of presenters during the meeting, it suddenly struck me like a lightning bolt as to what was being discussed: an important pillar in socialism; commandeer education and indoctrination of children at an earlier age.

A white paper study on Early Learning in Evansville and Vanderburgh County entitled “Building a Strong Foundation Through Investment in Early Learning,” was discussed.

It is important for the public to be informed as to the members of the steering committee for this study. My research of their current employment status is included.

After reading this White Paper on Early Learning in Evansville & Vanderburgh County, along with reading about the Early Learning Programs offered currently by the EVSC, the Full-Service Community Schools Grant received by the EVSC through the U.S. Department of Education, the objectives of Talent 2025, Indiana Paths to Quality, and Spark program objectives, the only word that describes my feeling is “clarity”. An understanding of how these programs, current affairs, and a grasp of Derrick Bell’s modern Critical Race Theory (CRT), Michel Foucault’s theories of systemic racism and social constructs, along with the meaning of “praxis,” answers the “why” of what is happening in our community and nation.

Our children are being conditioned and indoctrinated to become future political activists.
-To debate and discredit (at any cost, and much of that through blatant deception) the Christian, conservative, foundational and moral perspective.
-To tear down and reconstruct all status quo. Commandeer speech through the media and Big Tech.
-Defund the Police.
-Pass Biden’s boondoggle multi-trillion-dollar spending bill filled with new social programs, regulations, intrusive financial institution policies, and amnesty for millions of illegal migrants.
-Reshaping the ethnicity mixture and American cultural norms.
-Destroying our sovereignty through open borders.
-Eliminate the dollar as the standard currency and replace it with a digital currency.
-Federalize elections to keep the current majority in power.
-Weaponize the agencies with the Department of Justice.
-Globalism over Nationalism.
-Free governmental healthcare for all.
-Free college.
-Gender reassignment hormone therapy and normalization of gender fluidity.
-Disarmament of citizens.
-No cash bail.
-Mask mandates.
-Vaccine mandates.
-Reclaiming farmland.
-Change rezoning laws to eliminate suburbs.

Have I forgotten anything that has been in the news? View the above in its totality and you can only come to one conclusion. We are on the precipice of socialism as our new form of government in the U.S. in just eleven months of the Biden Administration.

Luckily, 2022 is in view. There is no time to waste. Parents – get involved in viewing what your child is being taught in their classes. Remember, as a taxpayer, the school corporation works for you. Your taxes pay for their salaries, the school buildings, every paper clip, and desk that is used.

Besides sporting events and concerts, show up at school board meetings, city council meetings or county council meetings. If you do not like how your tax money is being spent, then run for public office or support conservative candidates as did the “Wide Awakes”. Educate yourselves about what bills are being introduced on the state and national level. Familiarize yourself with the candidates on the ballot.

Todd Rokita, Indiana Attorney General, has written a valuable resource for parents, and all interested citizens entitled “Parents Bill of Rights.” It is easy to access online.

Those who seek to destroy this nation are ‘grooming’ our children through indoctrination in the education system, to political activism, and strangely, unto the ultimate end of, not just destroying the rights of those they oppose, but their own rights as well in the process. Our children are being targeted from the womb to the tomb, and while the agenda is well underway, there is still hope… if we take action.

You can take action by joining conservative groups like “We the People,” “Indiana Constitutional Women,” “Second Amendment Patriots,” “Purple for Parents,” and groups fighting for Election Integrity, or you can organize one of your own.

If you are “Wide Awake” or would like to be more awakened to the plot against our children and against our nation so that you can make a difference, connect with those who are taking action to protect our children, protect our nation, and protect our rights.

Most importantly, while you still can and with the primaries just around the corner, exercise one of your most important rights: VOTE!
