Biden’s Invitation – by Jim Bratten

At 6:00 a.m. Ukrainian time on February 24, the invasion of that nation by Russian forces began in earnest. It should have been considered inevitable.

This is the THIRD conflict caused by the Biden Regime’s ineptitude, weakness, and inaction. First in the UAE, then Afghanistan, and now Ukraine; all in barely a year. It is painfully obvious that, as long as Joe Biden occupies the Oval Office with his handlers from the Obama Regime, military conflicts will exist. Our adversaries across the world are on the offensive; they’re simply taking advantage of a perfect opportunity and watching what happens here.

Much of the blame for these conflicts rests squarely on Biden’s State Department and the incompetence of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman. Former Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Ambassador to Germany under President Trump, Ric Grenell explained it simply: “When diplomats fail, war comes.” And Grenell has repeatedly labeled both “diplomats” as failures.

Biden set the stage when he ensured Putin’s energy superiority in Europe – canceling all of Trump’s restrictions and sanctions on Russian energy supply to Europe via the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and ending pressure on European nations buying energy from Russia. In Biden’s first days in office, he canceled the U.S. Keystone XL pipeline which brought Canadian crude to U.S. refineries. Then he stopped drilling in Alaska’s ANWAR region and off-shore Alaska. He suspended oil extraction and exploration leases across the western U.S. and sold U.S. oil sources in the Gulf of Mexico. Biden has also declared war on fracking – which has boosted U.S. oil production substantially in the last 15 years.

Helping Russia to get rich while impoverishing America seems to be part of Biden’s “Build Back a Better Russia” plan. It’s part of his Green New Deal: Demolish America’s energy sector in gas and oil while building up Russia’s. The U.S. now buys thousands of barrels of oil from Russia each month, while cutting back on oil extraction in our own country. And Joe is clueless to the fact that energy profits are paying for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine!

Biden gave Putin the nod to go ahead with his plans to invade Ukraine when he pulled 160 National Guardsmen who were training Ukrainian military personnel; when he instructed the U.S. State Department to move our embassy out of Kyiv; and when he told Americans to hastily leave Ukraine. Then he made comments like “minor intrusion.”

When Putin announced that he was going to order his troops into eastern Ukraine as a “peacekeeping force” in two breakaway provinces populated by Russian separatists and sympathizers, what did Joe Biden do? He begged Putin not to do it. Seeing no action from Biden to thwart his plan, Putin occupied those two provinces, Donetsk and Luhansk in the Donbas region of Ukraine. He plans to annex them, as he has done with Chechnya, Crimea, and parts of Georgia during the Obama Regime. Putin has been sending signals about this action since last July and has developed his expansion plan over years.

Repeating errors of past progressive presidents, Biden has taken deterrents off the bargaining table, telegraphed to Putin what he would do and NOT do, and threatened half-hearted sanctions after the fact, “post-invasion.” Sanctions that should have been used in diplomacy as deterrents were held for punishment. Joe’s so-called sanctions have been massively inconsequential, extremely tardy, and completely non-strategic.

Russia and China are now emboldened, and Iran sees a path to go nuclear. As radio host Dan Bongino said, “We’re ruled by a group of strategically inept idiots.” This seems to be the case in the Biden Regime: 1) On Friday, February 25, the White House said that any sanctions would not affect Russian energy shipments into Europe; and 2) Classified intelligence on U.S. strategy regarding Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was shared with the Chinese Communist Party — who then shared it with Vladimir Putin. What are these idiots thinking?

When President Donald Trump was in the White House, America had a deterrent against aggression from Communist China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. He didn’t telegraph his strategy to aggressors and kept them guessing. Donald Trump was the deterrent.

With Joe Biden in office, that is gone. This is a perfect example of why it is critically important to “get it right” — have the right person in the White House. Incompetence invited Vladimir Putin to act.
