For well over a decade now, Walt Disney Corporation has exhibited a complete abandonment of its “family friendly” persona in favor of a depraved “wokeness” that panders to a twisted culture unsuitable for families with children.
This headline was seen on The Daily Wire March 21: “Disney Announces Plans to Oppose Texas Order Criminalizing Sex Change Surgeries on Children” The article described the movement in Texas to keep children from being coerced into sex reassignment surgery by one or both parents. Disney corporate and many of its employees are in favor of the promotion of this radical surgery and perpetuating the confusion that fosters it, no matter the age of the victim, the extent of bodily mutilation or its tragic consequences.
Disney could care less about the damages resulting from the diabolical agenda of transgenderism. But this cult of trans madness and its resultant personal tragedy isn’t new. A Newsweek headline from October 3, 2017 stated: “Transgender Surgery: Regret Rates Highest in Male-to-Female Reassignment Operations”
When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis guided the “Parental Rights in Education” bill through the Florida legislature earlier this year, the Democrat Media went ballistic, falsely naming it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. That media has been on a monotonous drone of harassment of DeSantis ever since the bill was introduced in the current session. The entertainment industry heartily joined the media’s demented effort to once more attempt to destroy the popular Florida governor, even though the public sentiment in Florida was greatly in favor of this measure to protect young children.
After Governor DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education bill into law last Monday, prohibiting classroom instruction regarding sexual orientation and gender identity to impressionable young children, the insufferably woke Walt Disney Corp. immediately attacked DeSantis, castigating him and railing against the new law, joining the tired chorus of the “Don’t Say Gay” rant – even though it’s a blatant lie, since the bill (now law) never mentions the word “gay” anywhere in its text or stipulates any prohibition from using the word “gay.” Disney totally falsifies the intent and actual meaning of the new law, simply mimicking the slander of Democrat Media that had been demonizing DeSantis for weeks. Disney just piled on.
As reported at TheBlaze.com, Harris Faulkner of Fox News accused Walt Disney Corporation of “trying to take away ‘innocence for our children.’ The Fox News anchor criticized Disney for publicly opposing the Parental Rights in Education law that protects children in grades kindergarten through third grade from being exposed to communication about sexual topics.”
Once more, unable to discuss or debate the content of a completely common sense bill that simply protected young students’ childhood innocence against attempts at prematurely turning them into adults (when the subject matter to be addressed would be far beyond their comprehension at the ages stipulated in the bill), Disney attacked a state governor and joined the lie. For a law that will stop inappropriate attempts at sexualizing children by educators not empowered to discuss subjects that hadn’t met the approval of parents, Disney chose the side of anti-family socialists.
So a piece like this on Newsmax from March 22 isn’t surprising. “Disney’s Movie ‘Turning Red’ May Cause Parents to Do the Same” explained how the movie by Pixar “poisons children’s minds against morality and values… and against their parents.”
Parents need to strike Disney resorts and other properties from their family vacation list and rid themselves of Disney’s dishonesty and hypocrisy.
Walt Disney’s family-friendly company is now only a memory of better times, before corporations in the field of family entertainment decided to place children’s futures in jeopardy, bowing to a depraved, woke culture.
A highly profitable American company that relies on its partnership with an oppressive communist dictatorship (Communist China) is complaining because freedom-loving Floridians want parents to have the final say in how their children are educated. How detestable.
