Sussmann Walks – by Jim Bratten

Hillary Clinton’s campaign attorney Michael Sussmann is a free man. Facts (evidence) revealed that Sussmann lied to the FBI, was paid by Hillary, and she approved. So he was acquitted. He was found “not guilty” of the charges by a “jury of his peers.”

Of course, in the Swamp known as Washington, DC the word “peers” carries a different connotation. In the Deep State it means that the judge and jury are really friends and acquaintances of the accused. In a jury filled from a town run by and populated with leftists, integrity is unknown and justice is purely political.

Judge Christopher Cooper should not have presided over this trial. His wife represented former FBI lawyer Lisa Page. The judge worked with Sussmann at the DOJ back in the 1990s. He and his wife were married by Merrick Garland, now attorney general. This judge should have recused himself from the trial, Day One.

The jury also had numerous problems: three Hillary Clinton donors, one donor to New York Democrat congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and a woman whose daughter is on the same sports team as Sussmann’s daughter. Conflicts of interest?

Washington, DC’s “jury pool” is overwhelmingly tainted with progressives. In the 2016 presidential election, 92.2% of DC voters pulled the lever for Clinton. In 2020, 92.2% voted for Biden.

And the female jury foreman explained the acquittal: “I don’t think it [the case against Sussmann] should have been prosecuted… there are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”

When the BIGGEST thing, the TRUTH, is dismissed as of minor importance, what else matters?

The truth about our justice system has been laid bare: there’s Michael Sussmann justice and then there’s Michael Flynn justice.

Leftists who lie to the FBI, DOJ, or Congress are given a pass.

Just ask Eric Holder.
