A walk down Memory Lane to March 10, 2014 – from The Madison Project:
“In case you missed it this weekend, the New York Times ran a story on the fight between the GOP Establishment and the outside conservative groups.
“In the story, Mitch McConnell is quoted as saying, ‘I think we are going to crush them everywhere… I don’t think they are going to have a single nominee anywhere in the country.’”
McConnell was referring to candidates backed by Tea Party and other conservative groups. In 2022 he still wants to “crush them.”
