Democrats’ Quandary – by Jim Bratten

Even though it’s not found in the Constitution, the “right to privacy” has been the Holy Grail of the Left for decades. They even invented “penumbras” to grant legitimacy to a host of non-legal (cultural) issues before the court.

Justice Samuel Alito dealt with big privacy cases in his decision, dispelling concerns from leftists that other privacy issues (same-sex marriage, contraception, etc.) will be next on the agenda. But Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot will continue to wildly accuse…

Democrats rail about reversing Roe after 49 years of “precedent,” conveniently ignoring that in 1973, Roe reversed 180 years of precedent. They are afraid to grapple with the moral context that was realized by the five justices in the majority reversal of Roe: The Supreme Court had no authority to rule on abortion in the first place. With this decision, the majority returned it to the states, constitutionally where it belongs and had always been until an activist court snatched it away from the states in 1973.

But none of this matters to Democrats; their position is to reject the SCOTUS ruling on Roe. They will continue to endorse the killing of pre-born children, now with their latest attempt in a Democrat Congress, until birth.

Science tells us that a unique human being is killed during an abortion, but that doesn’t matter to Democrats who use “science” as a political wedge but do not believe what science tells them. And the “faith-based” perspective of a Supreme Authority governing all life, in the womb and thereafter, doesn’t register for those who worship the State.

Since authority concerning abortion reverts to the states, Democrats worry about “people” making their own decisions. So they will sow fear and encourage riots — what they usually do.

Democrats are enraged; they counted on controlling the Court by threats and violence, because they realize they cannot control YOU.
