You Are Invited! – Bill of Rights Student Contest Winners

Please join us for the 15th annual ”Bill of Rights day celebration  at the central library downtown on Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 10 a.m. to Noon. We always start things off 
properly with a prayer to our Lord and Savior.  
This is a FREE event open to the public.  Refreshments provided by the “Citizens for Liberty,” 
and there will be door prizes as well. 
The intent and purpose of this event is to – “Help reestablish the understanding of the Bill of 
Rights. 
Presented by “Citizens for Liberty, Inc.” a group of Christian patriotic Americans. 
 
Each of the 10 Amendments comprising the “Bill of Rights” will be presented by 10 students 
from local area schools. 
 
There is also an essay contest; the winner of which will read their essay during our event. This 
essay contest is about our constitutional republic and was sent to the area schools for student 
participation, and the 6 winning students essays will be awarded cash prizes during the event. 
 
Our Guest Speaker this year will be Indiana Senator Jim Tomes. 
Invited guest include state and local government officials. 
Six winners of the “Bill of Rights Essays” will be awarded their prizes on December 16, 2017, at the central branch library downtown in the browning room from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

High school winners are;

First place ($200) winner is – Kacey Titzer.

Second place ($100) winner is – Austin Schmidt.

Third place ($50) winner is – Kabel Riney.

Middle school winners are;

First place ($200) winner is – Silas Temme.

Second place ($100) winner is – Cara Keller.

Third place ($50) winner is – Lila Pfettscher.

Come see, hear, and learn what our country’s freedom and liberty is all about, so please mark 
your calendars because you won’t want to miss this splendid Christian patriotic event. Hope to
