“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”
That’s the oath of office for the House of Representatives and the Senate. The list of Democrats and Republicans who actually heed those words and uphold that oath is, sadly, very short indeed.
The names of those who do not abide by the oath should be added to Rep. Maxine Waters’ (D-CA) impeachment list. Then every time the frivolous idea of Trump impeachment arises in 2019, the Democrat House leadership should be reminded of what constitutes an “impeachable offense.”
And it certainly isn’t the fact that one candidate won a presidential election due to the corrupt nature of another.
