Nadler Nonsense: The Next Episiode in the Impeachment Scam Crashes – by Jim Bratten

Jim Bratten

Since the Schiff Scharade bombed out after his latest round of faux “witnesses,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi handed the baton to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee (the committee actually charged with impeachment proceedings in the House).

Democrats were getting nowhere, so now Nadler was at bat. It would be his responsibility to turn up the heat on Trump and sell the public, which had become increasingly disinterested in impeaching a president. Nadler called in “constitutional experts in law,” choosing three to testify against Trump; why he must be impeached, “constitutionally.” Republican members were allowed one expert.

Professor Noah Feldman of Harvard Law School, Professor Michael Gerhardt of the University of North Carolina, and Professor Pamela Karlan of Stanford University were Nadler’s choices. Professor Jonathan Turley of George Washington University Law School was the choice of Republicans. All four are Democrats and, with the exception of Turley, academic political activists of the Left.

Karlan donated thousands to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. It has been reported that she was to be rewarded for her support with a possible Supreme Court seat if Mrs. Clinton had won the presidency. Karlan once said that Jeff Sessions was evil.

Feldman has openly expressed his hatred for President Trump and thinks Trump should be impeached simply for “what he says.” Gerhardt of UNC thinks it’s a given that Trump should be impeached, for “what he has done.” The problem is that, when pressed to name one offense Trump has committed, he draws a blank, as do the other two radical activists.

Our question is: “Why are four law professors testifying before Nadler’s committee in the first place?” They don’t know Trump, have never met him, and none of them are witnesses to anything concerning the accusations against Trump. So why were three pompous, arrogant Democrat academics, constitutional scholars, invited? To bend public opinion of course, since they’re smarter than you.

Whatever the Pelosi-Schiff-Nadler reason, it backfired – another disaster. All the press could say was, enthusiastically, “What a day!” They were so excited at the hopeful prospects that “this time will do it,” they were oblivious that the biased set-up was a total failure.

One voice – that of Professor Turley – burst Nadler’s balloon: There was no crime and no evidence of any crime. The “abuse of power” is upon the Democrats, for attempting to impeach a president simply because he won an election. Democrats’ actions endanger the separation of powers.

Nadler couldn’t sucker the White House to play along with his “impeachment inquiry” circus. Responding to his invitation to participate in the farce, White House Counsel released this: “House Democrats have wasted enough of America’s time with this charade… Adopting articles of impeachment would be a reckless abuse of power by House Democrats, and would constitute the most unjust, highly partisan, and unconstitutional attempt at impeachment in our nation’s history.” President Trump’s refusal to play Nadler’s game, to appear before the committee to “present his exculpatory evidence,” is correct.

Nadler’s catch-all accusation of “abuse of power” is merely the latest plot of desperate Democrats to reverse a presidential election. Since the next election is out of their reach, Pelosi will impeach, if 31 Democrats can be sold on political suicide.
