Republican Congressman Doug Collins from Georgia is a fighter. Many of us saw his performance as he vigorously pushed back against the asinine antics of Democrat Rep. Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, as Nadler constantly attacked Trump, pushing toward impeachment. Collins exposes Democrat tyranny every time he encounters it.
Now the staunch conservative is running for a U.S. Senate seat in his home state of Georgia and he is being stonewalled – rejected – by Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. It seems that Collins is not on McConnell’s “preferred” list and, as usual, Mitch’s lackeys are brutally dishonest in the way they attempt to stop non-members of the Deep State. Collins is a conservative and a member of the House Republican Freedom Caucus, so Mitch can’t allow him to occupy a Senate seat and join the likes of senators Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and others who strongly back President Trump.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee’s (NRSC) Nathan Brand had this to say about Doug Collins’ Senate attempt: “Since announcing his Senate candidacy, DC Doug Collins’ own polling shows that his campaign has been in a free fall… Collins is on a self-serving, spite-fueled, political kamikaze mission that threatens to take down President 
Trump, the Republican majority in the United States Senate, two Senate seats and multiple House seats. Over the next eight months Georgians will get to know the real Doug Collins, whose past actions tell a much different story than his recent words.”
Brand’s apocalyptic vision is completely bogus, but McConnell has his own team and his own list of favored candidates. The woman who now occupies that Senate seat was hand-picked by the progressive Georgia governor to fill a vacancy. She was once a Democrat, has recently turned Republican, and is now a heavy donor to the Republican National Committee (RNC) and Mitch’s favorite PACs. She is on Mitch’s “team.”
Mitch McConnell’s war against conservatives will continue as long as a Deep State exists and lobbyists pay for it.
