The oil and gas industry employs 10 million Americans, more than 5% of our workforce.
As the bottom dropped out of the oil market a week ago, momentarily driving the price per barrel to a negative $37, Democrat-Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York cheered the crash. She tossed off the plight of 10 million energy industry employees as casualties of the war against “fossil” fuels.
Beside herself with glee, she tweeted, “You absolutely love to see it. This along with record low interest rates means it’s the right time for a worker-led, mass investment in green infrastructure to save our planet. *cough*”
Ocasio-Cortez loves to see “workers” out of work, apparently. But it’s just collateral damage to her. After all, “It’s the ideology, stupid.” Or the transformation, the revolution, whatever. As her buddy Bolshevik Bernie Sanders says, “Out of workers, unite!”

Ignorance or abject idiocies? There’s times when I have to set back and watch before I see the truth. This is definitely one of those times.
She has some different things that happens since she is different. God’s help got us through those things and I believe he’ll get us through this one.
Learning God’s word v His blessing is different. Here’s the best thing I can say. He’s God and we are not. Let Him be Him and you be you, and me be me.
No matter what happens or what takes place from this point forward, God’s in control. He loves us and we love Him.
