Justice Ginsburg – by Jim Bratten

Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on September 18 at the age of 87 from pancreatic cancer. The most liberal and controversial justice on the court, she earned respect from other justices for being up front and honest in her opinions.

One always knew where she stood, but Ginsburg was also an opponent of the Constitution as written and intended. She was such a judicial activist that she became a leftist cult figure.

President Trump, however, needs to put forth a nominee as soon as possible for the stability of the court. With Democrat plans for a fraudulent, chaotic election in November, with millions of unverifiable mail-in ballots flooding the system, a four-four court will be a dangerous situation.

The problem won’t be time constraints; Ginsburg was confirmed in 43 days. Several other justices had even shorter confirmation periods.

The problem will be with Republicans in the Senate. McConnell needs to get the four or five “problem” senators in line to confirm Trump’s choice as quickly as possible, since the obstruction and attacks from radical Democrats will be brutal.

Constitutionality, a Trump nominee before the election is cut-and-dried.
