Big Tech Censorship: What You Never Need to Know… – by Jim Bratten

During the vice presidential debate, Vice President Mike Pence began to tie Communist China to the world-wide spread of the Wuhan virus. Moderator Susan Page of USA Today tried to divert the conversation. When Chinese Communist Party members heard Pence make the connection, they cut the video feed to their people. After Pence’s comments passed, the signal returned. The people weren’t allowed to hear what Pence said; his words were censored in Communist China.

This has been happening in America with more regularity since the Obama Regime’s efforts to grow progressive social media. Massively large “Big Tech” social media companies such as Twitter and Facebook just censored an entire story about the discovery of thousands of Hunter Biden’s emails found on a Mac laptop.

Miranda Devine, a New York Post columnist, wrote the story about the evidence on the Mac’s hard drive, which changes the tales Joe Biden has been telling regarding his son Hunter and the Ukrainian energy broker Burisma. The story, hidden by Democrat Media, hit social media and exploded.

Shortly after the story broke, Twitter suspended the New York Post account and blocked any mention of Biden across the platform. Facebook followed suit, blocking and censoring posts touching on the topic. Big Tech companies stopped Americans from reading the story and finding out for themselves what to believe. Americans’ access to information is being censored.

Major Democrat Media would not touch the story from the New York Post.

The Federalist published a piece by Joy Pullmann, “11 Hacks, Leaks, and Hoaxes That Twitter and Facebook Didn’t Throttle – Because They Hurt Trump.” In the article, Pullmann laid out a few examples of Twitter’s bias. The company was okay with: President Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president; President Trump’s tax returns illegally leaked to the New York Times; the illegal handling by the FBI of Michael Flynn’s legal phone call with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak; the Steele dossier used to set up the Russia/Trump collusion hoax; the baseless and vicious claims against Justice Kavanaugh; and the slander of high school student Nicholas Sandmann by CNN, the Washington Post, and other media outlets. Twitter had no problem with any of these and has allowed numerous false accusations and fake scandals to trend on their platform because it damages President Trump.

FoxNews.com headlines read: “While Censoring Hunter Biden Story, Twitter Allows China, Iran State Media” and “Twitter Locks Out Kayleigh McEnany from Her Personal Account for Sharing New York Post’s Hunter Biden Report.”

Even the Trump reelection campaign was fair game. Last Thursday, Mike Hahn of the Trump campaign tweeted, “Twitter has suspended @TeamTrump for posting a video calling Joe Biden a liar who has been ripping off our country for years, as it relates to the @nypost article. 19 days out from the election.”

Twitter also labeled links to the House Judiciary Committee website as “potentially unsafe,” because Republican members of the Committee had posted excerpts from the New York Post article on the Committee’s website. But it’s not just the hatred for President Trump or protecting Joe Biden.

Recently, Facebook blocked information posted on its platform by the Tucker Carlson Tonight show on Fox News. After discussing the topic of masks (pertaining to their effectiveness in stopping the spread of the Wuhan virus, using information from the CDC), Facebook blocked access to Carlson’s page containing the CDC information. Apparently, if it doesn’t fit the “approved” narrative, it’s not to be seen.

So, what’s the difference in Twitter or Facebook controlling what Americans see, and the Chinese Communist Party censoring Vice President Pence’s comments?
