“Jobless claims unexpectedly increased by 700,000,” said a Biden Regime economic adviser.

“Unexpectedly?”

Continuing disastrous lockdowns, reinstating harmful regulations that Trump had ended, canceling the Keystone XL pipeline and halting drilling for oil and gas on public lands, threatening middle-income tax increases, opening wide the southern border, returning felons to the streets… what could possibly drive up jobless claims?

Many people are not working, intentionally. The latest “stimulus” check was received by 80% of Americans. Sitting home as they were told, collecting state unemployment (and now federal unemployment on top of that), and receiving occasional “stimulus” checks from the federal government — why would many return to work when they are being paid not to?

Last month, 40% of small business owners couldn’t hire, even after they raised wages and benefits by 25%. People aren’t applying for the jobs.
