“Russiagate” makes Watergate look like child’s play – when rookie operatives bugged one office. This scandal is exponentially larger, involving multiple federal agencies, a myriad of offices, and two branches of our government, controlled by a political campaign with the objective of a virtual coup. But Democrat Media will not touch it.
When federal prosecutor John Durham, the lead in the Russia-Trump investigation, released his motion on February 11, there was no mention on Democrat Media. Called the largest scandal in U.S. history by many, and far more serious and eclipsing Watergate, leftist press outlets were silent.
Donald Trump was “tapped,” surveilled illegally, when he was a candidate and after he entered the White House as president. This latter violation may make the illegal activity an act of treason; an attempt to stage a coup to overthrow the legally elected President of the United States. Yet Democrat Media completely ignore it or dismiss the entire subject with backhanded remarks. Except for Newsmax, Fox News Channel, OANN, and sources like BlazeTV, visual media is AWOL.
Headlines from 2017: CNN (12/1/17), “The many paths from Trump to Russia” — CNBC (5/16/17), “The latest Trump-Russia leak smells like a coup attempt” – and Politico Magazine (11/19/17), “The Hidden History of Trump’s First Trip to Moscow.” The faux headlines and outrageous claims were daily and constant, ever since Trump was elected and during the campaign. Even in 2020, the hoax was still going strong with Democrat Media. This appeared in The Washington Post on 11/21/20, “The unanswered question of our time: Is Trump an agent of Russia?” The press has carried this hoax for Hillary for nearly six years, since 2016. Now, with the latest from the Durham investigation, they are speechless, but by intent. Nothing will be said that endangers Joe Biden (while he’s in office) or Democrat chances in November 2022.
Brent Bozell’s Media Research Center (MRC) has noticed the vacuum, as noted on February 14 in MRC NewsBusters’ headlines: “CNN Ignores Durham, Defends Whoopi: ‘Wrong Answer’ for ABC to Suspend,” “We’re Still Waiting, Washington Post, for Your Story on Clinton Spying,” and “Nets SILENT on Clinton Spying on Trump, Cover Skating Scandal Instead.” Democrat Media covers everything and anything, except news about the Durham motion.
Judicial Watch posted this on February 16: “Records Reveal Tech Operatives Allegedly Used by Hillary Clinton Campaign to Spy on Trump WH Had Contract with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency,” reporting that:
“Judicial Watch announced today that it received 127 pages of records from the Georgia Institute of Technology of communications among four individuals. These records reveal that the individuals, who are mentioned in the Durham probe formal accusation of Michael Sussman, worked with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from 2016-2021. The documents also suggest the group was interested in targeting then Trump campaign adviser Steve Bannon.”
“The Clinton Campaign enlisted the help of researchers at Indiana University, that already had a cyber security contract with the federal government to analyze large amounts of Internet data,” reported Grant Stinchfield on Newsmax. “The Hillary Clinton Campaign funded, directed, and organized an attempted coup; trying to oust a legally elected, sitting president. Trump has been right about these events all along,” added Stinchfield, who believes this qualifies as treason.
This headline appeared in the Washington Examiner on October 6, 2020: “Trump intel chief declassifies John Brennan notes and CIA referral on unverified report about Clinton plan to create Trump-Russia scandal” – The CIA referral that went to the White House. The article stated that the referral claimed “…that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton planned on tying then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia’s hack of the Democrat National Committee to distract from her use of a private email server.”
Details of the biggest political scandal in U.S. history wait for reporters. But Democrat Media want to bury this as deep as it will go.
