The School Board Fled – by Jim Bratten

Asra Q. Nomani, a former Georgetown University professor, is also an Asian mother on a mission. Her objective is to expose the Fairfax County, Virginia government school system. She used to be a dedicated Democrat voter but switched parties in 2016 as the Democrats lurched further Left.

Last Thursday, Nomani attended a meeting of the Fairfax County School Board, armed with copies of a new book that exposes America’s corrupt government school system. The book essentially details how school districts have become corrupted by radical ideologies, particularly those that promote racism, and portions of it deal specifically with Fairfax County.

“Race to the Bottom: Uncovering the Secret Forces Destroying American Public Education,” was authored by Luke Rosiak of The Daily Wire. Nomani brandished a copy as she vigorously castigated the seated school board members, confronting them en masse at Thursday’s meeting with a personal copy of the book for each, addressing the entire board’s complicity in classifying children by race and indoctrinating the children in racism. She accused the board of being the real racists as she captured her face-off on video.

“You are the new face of racism. I have here a copy of a book for each of you: ‘Race to the Bottom.’ You are all in this book… I hope you read them from cover to cover and see yourselves in the pages of history — as failures,” she told the all-Democrat board.

Race to the Bottom author Luke Rosiak tweeted the following morning: “The Fairfax County School Board fled its own meeting midsession last night after an Asian mom brought copies of the book Race to the Bottom for them, and the parents began chanting ‘racist! racist!’ at the board, which broke the law to get rid of Asians at its math school.”

As he shared the video of the Asian mom’s confrontation with the Fairfax County School Board from the night before, Rosiak exposed some of that school board’s sullied history of racial misdeeds, tweeting: “The school board got rid of the entrance exam to its math magnet school because of the CRT conspiracy theory that tests are racist. A judge found they broke the law, but they refused to relent, saying they’d appeal. This morning, they lost again when a judge denied a ‘stay.’”

Then Rosiak divulged some of the underhanded deeds exposed in his book, tweeting: “The book details the modern educational establishment’s anti-Asian war on merit — in which supposed educators actually undermine top achievers… Pretending getting the right answer in math isn’t a real thing will have dangerous civic consequences.”

Nomani also made that clear on Thursday night while dressing down the board members, stating the board’s desire to replace Fairfax County’s merit-based system because “too many Asians” passing the entrance exam makes them the real racists. The “war on achievement” has been raging for a few decades now, as standards are lowered repeatedly, and meritocracy is replaced by racial equity, driven by diversity and inclusion. Academic proficiency is abandoned to pervasive mediocrity and the accumulation of knowledge and actual learning are gone, replaced by critical race theory and gender studies. Real education is an orphan.

The feisty Asian mom started reading from Rosiak’s book after the board members fled the facility. Rosiak saw it on video and described the scene, tweeting: “Asian moms took over the vacated hall for what one called ‘story time,’ where they read from a chapter about the Fairfax board. ‘In this new era, school board members took their seats to pursue a variety of agendas, none of which had to do with education,’ it begins.”

It turns out that Nomani has lobbied hard on many issues related to the infusion of radical ideologies into America’s government school systems. The anti-Asian race issue is her latest objective. She went viral last November after she displayed some of the radical reading materials that kids in her county are being exposed to in an appearance on Fox News.

As reported in AmericanWireNews.com on March 12, “A Virginia school board fled in terror after an Asian mother confronted them on Thursday with copies of a just-released book that exposes the way America’s public schools, particularly those in Virginia’s Fairfax County, have fallen prey to the whims of radical activists.” She stood, they fled.

Moms like Asra Nomani are discovering their courage and finding ways to confront the evil that is preying on our children from inside our schools.
