Speaker Nancy Pelosi viciously attacked the Supreme Court, a separate branch of our government, as “dangerous to freedom.” Then she blamed President Trump, calling him a “creature” who had “polluted the courts” (with competent, constitutional originalists, no less).
Those “originalists” are now pondering the demise of Roe v Wade, the impetus for Nancy’s rage, but they’re also worried about their safety and that of their families from leftist violence.
Pelosi’s rage at the inevitable end to mass killing of tens of millions of defenseless pre-born children and the profits lost as a result has, to quote a famous mentor to Barack Obama, “come home to roost.” Hearing Nancy’s virulent outbursts demonizing the Supreme Court has influenced others to act, as has the outrage from other Democrat leaders.
Pelosi’s counterpart in the Senate, New York Democrat Chuck Schumer, launched his rage against the potential reversal of Roe over two years ago. In March, 2020 Schumer delivered his tirade from the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. “I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions!” he shouted to gathered radicals. Since then, he has made repeated threats against a court that he feels is not forwarding the Democrat agenda for our nation’s transformation.
Nicholas Roske, a 26-year-old California man, took a cab to Kavanaugh’s home with a suitcase and backpack containing a tactical chest rig and tactical knife, a Glock 17 with two magazines and additional ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, assorted tools, a crowbar, pistol light, duct tape, hiking boots with soft padding on the outside of the soles to silence footsteps, and other items. He had everything necessary to stealthily enter a house in the early morning, subdue and execute a justice and his family.
As Douglas Andrews wrote in The Patriot Post on June 9, “This is a sick young man, and he didn’t grab these murderous thoughts out of thin air. He grabbed them from the world around him — from the mainstream media, and from Democrat politicians, and from the leftist Mob.” Just as James Hodgkinson had on June 14, 2017, when he opened fire on a group of Republican congressmen practicing on a ball field in Alexandria, Virginia. Hodgkinson wounded a lobbyist and Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA).
Was Democrat activist Roske listening to Schumer’s threats against two justices by name? Did Pelosi’s words lead him to travel to Kavanaugh’s neighborhood, equipped for the assassination of a Supreme Court justice and his family? Could Schumer’s tirades, Pelosi’s rants, or Democrat Media’s threatening narrative, incite violence against the Court and its jurists? And why are Democrats promising a summer of riots and chaos if Roe fails?
Senator Schumer’s threats against the Supreme Court, as Pelosi’s, should be recognized as seditious acts, or threats of insurrection against one of the three branches of the federal government.
Since the leak of the Justice Alito opinion, there have been over 50 attacks and fire-bombings against pro-life organizations and Christian pregnancy centers around the nation, most by a radically-left Pro-Death group called “Jane’s Revenge.” “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either,” was spray-painted on the wall of pro-life Wisconsin Family Services office building in Madison, Wisconsin. After the pro-abortion activists admired their handiwork with the paint, they finished their attack on the pro-life office by torching it with a Molotov cocktail. Lots of threats, considerable damage to property, but no arrests, no indictments.
Irresponsible rhetoric and outright threats from Democrat lawmakers, the Democrat Media, and the White House itself, has placed several justices in jeopardy of property damage and possible bodily harm if they don’t vote against any reversal of Roe v Wade. Democrat operatives doxed five justices who are believed to be supporters of the Alito opinion, publishing their home addresses, church addresses, and even their children’s school info on social media with the intent to harass and intimidate by protesting outside the homes of those justices, a federal felony. But, again, no arrests or indictments from the DOJ, other than Roske.
Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley summed it up: “The arrest of an armed man outside Justice Kavanaugh’s home shouldn’t surprise any of us… it should be a sobering moment… A jurist should not have to wonder whether he can both serve and survive on our Supreme Court.”
