AN OPEN LETTER TO: CHRIST’S CHURCH – by Tom Berry

AN OPEN LETTER TO: CHRIST’S CHURCH

BUT ESPECIALLY TO CHRIST’S TRUE SHEPHERDS (PASTORS) AND CHRIST’S TRUE CHRISTIAN LEADERS

Where is Christ’s Church (His True Body)? Where are Christ’s True Shepherds? Where are Christ’s True Leaders? Is the modern church a completely wayward church? What has happened to the New Testament Church that “boldly” went forth proclaiming the gospel that the kingdom of God had come to earth to set the captives free from their sinful nature and their sinful deeds and restore them to a right relationship with their Heavenly Father and eternal life in His presence? That church turned their world inside out, upside down, and right side up with their devotion to their Lord and Leader Jesus Christ, many even at the cost of their lives.

Has modern day Christianity totally succumbed to being a false religion or simply a religious activity? Has it become just a form of godliness without the power of Jesus Christ and His Mighty Holy Spirit behind it (2 Tim. 3:1-9)? Many Scriptures talk about false shepherds, false prophets, false teachers, and false Christians preaching and believing “another gospel” (e.g. Ga. 1:1-9). Mt. 7:21-23 says, “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say unto Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many mighty works? And then I will profess to them , I never knew you: depart from Me, you who work iniquity (evil, sin).” Anyone who does not have intimate relationship with Jesus Christ; and/or who preaches “another gospel” other than the gospel that Christ proclaimed is a false Christian, Shepherd, or Leader and will answer to Christ Himself in the day of Judgement.

James 4:17 says, “Therefore to him that knows to do good and does it not, to him it is sin.”

And, in Matthew 12:30 Jesus said, “He who is not with Me is against Me…”

It is not enough to simply preach the gospel. Christ’s church, shepherds, and leaders must take a stand with their Leader, Christ. Christ called sin what it was and told people to “sin no more” (e.g. Lk. 7:36-50; Jn. 8:1-12 and 31-47; Jn. 15:18-25) ; as also did Paul (e.g. Ro. 1:20-2:29; Ro. 5:12-6:23;1Cor. 5:1-13; etc.).

I agree that we are to love the sinner. And, we should speak the truth in love. But love must sometimes be firm. And, sometimes we must stand with our Leader Jesus Christ, with righteous, holy indignation against sin; especially when satan begins to use it against our youngest children to confuse and pervert them, as with the “Drag Queen Story Hour”.

Christ’s church, and especially His shepherds and leaders have, for the most part, failed at “Christianity”. Christianity means “Christ one”. That is, a follower of Christ and His teachings. Christ is our Lord and Master, His Holy Spirit is our guide and Leader; and we are His Body in this world. Christ’s job was finished on the Cross. He has given His Church (His Body) the commission and responsibility to not only take the Gospel to the world (Mt. 28:18-20), but also the job of impacting the world and making a real tangible difference.

Here are His very words (Mt. 5:13-16), “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

This is not an “if you want to,” it is a command from our Leader. SALT is a seasoning, but it is also a preservative. And, Jesus said that if salt has lost its saltiness it is worthless, it is good for nothing! LIGHT is not only an agent that illumines things and makes them visible to the eyes, it is also a dispeller and repeller of darkness. Jesus said that we are not to hide our light, but are to let it shine before men.

Christ’s True Church, but especially His True shepherds and His True Leaders, can no longer hide their light behind the four walls of a church building whatever the reason or excuse. Because we, the church, have been (culturally) silent over most of the last 100-150 years, our enemy the devil has introduced every evil imaginable into our society.

And, once again our cities, our country, and our world have been almost completely overcome by sin, evil, and darkness (see Gen. 6:1-8:22; Mt. 21:1-31; 2 Tim. 3:7-17). Christ has given us the responsibility to be “SALT” and “LIGHT”. And, His word teaches us that we will not only answer for “every idle word that proceeds out of our mouth Mt. 12:36, but for every wrong action we take and every action we know we should take but don’t. That is, doing the good that we know we should, being involved in impacting our world, and being salt and light.

Enough is enough! Our innocent children, our cities, our nation and our world are at stake. The fall of the Roman Empire, as well as many other empires and nation states were preceded by a great decline in morality, perversion, and child predatory practices. Will America follow suit? And, yes we all know what the Scriptures say about the evil of the end times. However, Christ still expects us to stand and having done all else to stand. And, that is what we will answer for, did we stand? Were we salt and light?

It’s Time! It’s time for moral people, but especially “Christians”, to make a choice and take a stand. We’ve been silent too long. It’s time for “true pastors” and “true church leaders” to make a choice and take a stand, we’ve been quiet behind church doors too long. So what if we lose our 501c3 status? So what if we are called “haters” and “bigots” and “homophobes”, etc. Would you rather be called that by people or hear Christ say something worse to you at Judgement?

It’s time for you and I to take a stand for right, and to save our children and others from the kingdom of darkness. We are standing on the very edge of a dark chasm from which there is no return. Will we cover our eyes and blindly step over hoping everything will be ok? Or, will we choose to stand?

Joshua 24:15 says, “… Choose you this day whom you will serve”, …”But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” What will your choice be? Will you continue to be an accomplice to the problem? Or, will you be a part of the solution by standing up and being salt and light?

JUST REMEMBER;

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke.

If the last 100-150 years of our nation’s history has taught us anything, it has taught us how true this statement is. We can wait no longer. We must take a stand now. Will you do nothing and allow evil to triumph? What will you say to your children and grandchildren? More importantly, what will you say to Christ?

Bond servant of Jesus Christ and messenger of our righteous and holy Father,

Tom Berry

Those who cross-dress or practice an alternative lifestyle are giving in to a temptation. It is a powerful one but can be overcome – as with any temptation – if one repents and asks the Lord for help to not repeat it. If we don’t think God can cure us, then the temptation is our god. If we believe God can cure our mothers from cancer, He can also cure this powerful temptation. God loves people but not their actions when they are in conflict with His Will. Deut. 22:5 discusses cross-dressing and fits with other scriptures showing God’s anger when we are not proud of who we are as God’s creation. The Lord did not make a mistake. He puts us in situations, then wants to see if we will ask for His leadership and guidance as we journey through the life He has asked us to handle. Praise and obedience is all we can give Him in return for what He has done for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lord!!
