First Quarter 2019 stats show GDP growth at 3.2% – versus estimates of 2.0%. Spending on IP (Intellectual Property) protection was up 8.6%. Exports were up 3.7%; imports down 3.7%.
The U.S. Census Bureau released the numbers for health insurance enrollment in 2017: Obamacare, 12.2 million; uninsured, 28.5 million; and private insurance policies, 198 million.
It’s obvious that a single-payer system, doing away with the private health insurance coverage of nearly 200 million Americans, would be an unmitigated, and unnecessary, disaster.
