It’s sickening to watch; Republicans acting as if November 3, 2020 was just another political election loss. It’s far more serious than that, but their actions belie their ignorance, or denial of reality; one of the two.
I cringed at the camaraderie on the first day of the new Congress; Republicans giving “fist bumps” to the pathological liars on the “other side of the aisle.” They need to talk to the American people outside of their Capitol Hill bubble and listen to them. If they don’t take them seriously, they will never understand why they cannot compete with Trump, comprehend who their political opponents really are, or why they’re so dangerous.
Even Sean Hannity, on his radio show, spoke about the “ebb and flow” of “election cycles.” But under an authoritarian regime, of which we see ample evidence under alleged president Biden, there is NO “ebb and flow.” And there will be no “election cycles” in a socialist, or communist, one-party state.
Back in early June, Matthew Whittaker, former acting U.S. attorney general who served under President Trump after Jeff Sessions failed in the AG position, was interviewed on Newsmax. Judging by his answers to simple questions, it’s obvious he really doesn’t understand the battle we are in to restore election integrity. In that interview, Whittaker said that he doesn’t understand “why both sides” aren’t interested in arriving at a solution to the 2020 election “fraud” issue. Can he not comprehend that Democrats have no interest in “uncovering” the fraud they perpetrated on the nation in the 2020 election? They need it buried—deep. He actually believes Democrats are interested in election integrity, “…the desire that we clean it up on both sides.” That “desire” is not mutual. Whittaker is a Republican living inside the Deep State; is he feigning that he doesn’t understand the reality between the parties?
And please, all you conservative “pundits” out there in podcast nation and on broadcast or cable media, stop using the narrative the Democrat Media feeds you. Biden’s actions are not “mistakes;” they are as intended.
The Republicans’ reaction to Democrats is incomprehensible.
