100% Fed Up: Parents Increasingly Upset with EVSC – by Ann Yates

EVSC’s job is to Educate, Not Mask, Vaccinate or Indoctrinate.

Just 3 weeks ago, the EVSC was in local news regarding whether or not they will be forcing children to wear masks if they are not vaccinated, and whether or not they would be segregating the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. Their official response stated simply that they will not be forcing masks or segregating. Then, as the Covid numbers fluctuated last Monday, the EVSC (in the week just before the start of the school year) announced that all students will be wearing masks again this year.

The community is largely becoming more and more frustrated with the responses of the EVSC administration and the apparent flip-flop just before the students return to school.

Additionally, a growing number of parents, grandparents and concerned citizens have been attending EVSC School Board meetings deeply troubled that the schools have departed from the priorities of academics and have taken on an agenda to dehumanize, agonize and indoctrinate students. The public has been protesting and reasoning with board members to let students return to normalcy without masks and other absurd measures for the 2021-22 school year.

Our messages to board members are simple truths.

1. Masks are proven to be useless. We have learned that viruses are much smaller than the pores of a mask and furthermore, according to Dr. Dan Stock and other doctors, recommendations by the CDC and state health departments are contrary to all rules of science.

2. Masks are a risk to physical health and emotional well-being. Wearing a mask for several hours increases CO2 blood levels weakening the immune system. Masking promotes fear, especially to children in primary grades. Smiles speak more than words. Young children are susceptible to emotional instability when facial expressions of validation are absent. Even teens need the approval and encouragement expressed in a smile.

3. Masks, Contact-Tracing, etc. undermines parental authority and is a threat to our freedom.

4. There is only a 0.01% risk of Covid death among children, yet at the end of the school year, high schools became vaccine clinics.

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) shows the total deaths of all ages has surpassed 12,000. In only 1 week’s time (the week ending July 30) among 12 to 17-year-olds 18 deaths have been reported. In this age group there have been 15,741 total adverse events, including 947 rated as serious and 18 reported deaths. Two of the deaths were SUICIDES.

If schools continue promoting or administering vaccines will they be held liable in the event of serious illness or death?  Were parents and students given informed consent? Were they told of the increasing number of deaths, heart inflammation, blood clots, Bell’s Palsy, Guillain Barre’ syndrome, paralysis, etc.? They were not.

If parents oppose an unknown, potentially dangerous foreign substance injected into their child’s body, they are now being told they are a danger to the vaccinated. However, according to the Washington Post, even the CDC admits that 74% of COVID-19 Cases in a Massachusetts outbreak were fully vaccinated. So students and parents alike are being pressured to go against their convictions and get injected.

EVSC Superintendent David Smith and board members claim they must follow the CDC, State of Indiana and Vanderburgh County Health Department recommendations. But even the County Health Department says the School Board has authority to make the final decision. Moreover, Vanderburgh residents did not vote for the CDC, Dr. Fauci nor the appointed leadership of the County Health Department, none of which are mentioned in the Constitution.

EVSC School Board Meetings

During School Board meetings a limited number of parents and people from the general taxpaying public can sit in on the meeting in chairs 3-4 ft apart, and Superintendent Dr. Smith has denied public access to the podium. We can only guess that the intent of this policy is censorship. The meetings are videotaped, but public comment has been stricken from the recordings. The only voice we now have is to speak to board members privately before meetings.

EVSC “Town Halls”

Although the EVSC calls it a “Town Hall” meeting, it is anything but.

Despite the fact that each time the board meets that the administration and trustees congratulate themselves for all the wonderful things they are accomplishing, the recent public outcry and increasing number of protests outside of the EVSC building make it evident that the community is fed up. Whether it be the upset teachers, the upset bus drivers, the upset parents, the upset students… whether it be about the lack of support for overworked teachers, the politically-biased indoctrination, the sex-scandals of school board members, the pornographic books in the school libraries, the communistic curriculum, the psychological or morals-replacement programming, the masks, the vaccines, or the medical segregation… the protests indicate that while the EVSC continues to schmooze the community and pat themselves on the proverbial back, the community is fed up.

While the EVSC administration claims this “town hall” allows the concerns of the community to be heard by the board members, this process actually separates the board members so that there is no collective conversation, removes any public comment from the record, hides the public outcry behind closed doors, and silences the concerns of the community.

The fed up parents and taxpayers hope to give voice to their concerns, and to be heard by others in the community with their concerns. But the “town hall” meetings organized by the EVSC are designed to effectively sweep the concerns of the community under a rug.

At these “town halls” members of the public who wish to speak at these meetings are isolated from speaking with the entire board of our elected officials as is specific even in the definition of a “town hall,” and shuffled out without the option for other members of the board or the public having opportunity to witness their questions or statements.

This isolated meeting takes place sitting at a table across from 1 or 2 trustees with a plexiglass in between. Only in July did they remove the mask requirement. This was in a room with 4 of these tables, everyone nearly yelling to hear through masks and glass. Personally, I felt more freedom when I once visited a prison inmate. Parents and taxpaying citizens are frustrated with the lack of transparency with the board.

Now that they claim “cases” have increased, I fear masking will begin again, as well as restricting some of us from the meetings. It all seems a waste of time anyway because board members discredit every concern we bring to their attention, schmoozing us with false assurances, outright deception and misdirection. Closing their ears to our concerns will eventually come back to bite them because more and more fed-up parents are pulling their children from public schooling and more fed-up teachers are leaving EVSC.

Political Indoctrination Programming

We have learned about the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) indoctrination throughout all the curriculum, which is used to encourage children to accept new norms and disregard what their parents have taught them about right and wrong. They claim it is important for children’s health, but most of us know that undermining parental authority is unhealthy. If they are really concerned about social emotional health, they would unmask the students so they can have a positive communication experience with friends and teachers which is so important during the formative years.

If board members really care about the health of students, they should listen to true science and to parents, students and teachers. I know of teachers who are scared to speak their true opinions to board members because of potential repercussions. One teacher friend told me, “There is so much in our curriculum that I don’t agree with, and I know many students and teachers feel the same. Thank you for what you are doing.”

Critical Race Theory

Critical Race Theory (CRT) is one of the hot topics parents are concerned about, but board members insist EVSC does not teach CRT. That’s because the EVSC has simply given it another name: Equal Opportunity Schools. EOC supports CRT, demonizes white people based on the color of their skin (the very definition of racism) by supporting Robin DeAngelo’s White Fragility concept, and pushes for whites to receive what they call “multicultural and social justice education.”

Parents Bill of Rights

I have heard stories from both students, teachers, and also parents overhearing virtual school history lessons laced with CRT. Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita released a Parents Bill of Rights in June to help parents combat ideologies imposed on children in school. According to Rokita, “These actions reflect a growing, parent-led rebellion against the ideology of Critical Race Theory.” One of the provisions in this Bill of Rights says that parents have a right to view the curriculum used in the classroom.

EVSC needs to allow parents, teachers, students and community members to have a voice louder than the news media, big Pharma, Dr Fauci and his cronies. Our message to EVSC is simple: Allow the community back into the board meetings, unmask the children and teachers, stop pushing the vaccines, and educate rather than indoctrinate.

The following letter is from a parent who feels like she is not being heard:

As a local mom to four students in three EVSC schools, I am very frustrated about the upcoming school year. I have attended school board meetings over the summer and many of my family’s concerns remain. My teens, their friends, and several teachers that I’ve talked to are excited for things to return to normal. They want block scheduling back in the high schools. Having longer classes every other day is what will help them reach their educational requirements for the 2021-2022 school year. As it stands they will not be back to block scheduling and we are very disappointed. Doing the same things that we did last year will not get them where they need to be.

Our children cannot experience a repeat of last year. There is minimal risk for our school aged children in regards to Covid-19. All staff and students must be treated with dignity and respect. No one should be separated out or be identified by having to wear a mask.

EVSC Superintendent David Smith

Our children must not be forced to eat lunch at 9:15 a.m. nor should they have to eat lunch in the gym. The students that ate early struggled through the rest of the day even if they did have a snack to help them through. They had a hard time focusing and performing well without a mid-day meal. Not to mention eating lunch on gym bleachers spaced six

feet apart while trying to balance a boxed meal and feeling very alone with no interaction from classmates. The students would try to talk to each other but would have to speak loudly to be heard and then the teachers would fuss at them for being too loud.

My ten-year-old son would tell me how he would play rocket ship with his spoon just to make his lunch time more bearable. He saw none of his friends throughout the school day and he struggled through the entire year truly wanting to just stay at home. Each morning was a struggle to get him moving and on the bus. By the end of the year, he was very deflated and just worn out.

Finally, EVSC staff, please just give our children a solid education. Don’t let fear be your driving force. Allow parents and community members back into our schools. We are here and we want to help.

The next EVSC Town Hall starts at 5:00 this evening with the School Board meeting to follow at 5:30.

    Thank uou for this report!

  2. Pharmaceutical companies are protected from lawsuits, but not the people that administer the needles to your arm, the schools and businesses, teachers, School Superintendent, School Board that tell others they must have it because they are following orders from the governor or whoever. If the school system or whoever requires the Vaccine then let it be known they are wide open for lawsuits! Better get your kids out if they offer a clinic.
