GOP Votes for Nancy – by Jim Bratten

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) likely could not believe her good fortune when four Republicans co-sponsored a federal power-grab data expansion. Eighty Republicans voted with 214 Democrats to pass the measure tracking vaccine use among private citizens.

The “Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act” can now be sold by Pelosi to the Senate as a “bipartisan” effort.

Four Indiana Republicans in the House, surprisingly two co-sponsors, voted for this dangerous government centralization and overreach: Rep. Larry Bucshon, MD (co-sponsor); Rep. James Baird (co-sponsor); usually staunch conservative Rep. Jim Banks; and always dutiful Republican Rep. Greg Pence (brother of former VP and Indiana governor Mike Pence).

The three Republicans from Indiana who voted “no” to the bill, wisely, were: Rep. Jackie Walorski; Rep. Trey Hollingsworth; and Rep. Victoria Spartz.

These three need our thanks for standing up to leadership.

Rep. Spartz voted against the bill based on personal experience—she grew up in communist Ukraine where surveillance was a fact of life.

It’s time to send Bucshon back into medicine. I’ve had it with Republicans who betray the freedoms we possess. No more votes for Bucshon.

  2. ACA expansion or new intrusion in our personal Healthcare by our federal government. 87000 new IRS agents to help keep up with the new banking system requirements for anyone with over $600 or more accounts to be provided to the IRS.
Maybe they will keep track of our vaccine records.
