A Permanent Minority Party? Once More, Republicans Fail the Country – by Jim Bratten

Jim Bratten

The new Democrat-Socialist Party is on a mission; the Republicans are not. Democrats work to reach their goals at any cost. Republicans tiptoe around, hoping not to offend anyone. Their party motto could be, “We’re not as bad as you think we are.”

Republicans will not engage Democrats, even if their lives depended on it; they seek “common ground,” always accommodating Democrats in their lawlessness and crime. This has nothing to do with “issues.” Democrats could care less about issues in their quest for power.

The GOP establishment will not fight for what’s right; they always seek political compromise. Hence the appearance of Donald Trump; he fights for what is right, according to the values and principles of America’s Founding. And he knows what is wrong––and there are certain things that are always wrong. These offer no possibility for compromise, ever. Above all, he is a patriot and openly exhibits it. For this honest, transparent approach to governing, Republican leadership despises him.

Republicans in Congress allowed election fraud to stand and they’ll likely allow future stolen elections to be certified. Surrender after surrender, they will consign their party to the status of Permanent Minority Party. In the concept of winning battles, Republicans never find the “hill to die on,” so they don’t need courage or resolve to defend the country. They can simply accept the defeats handed to them by their political masters. It’s become second nature.

As with the first impeachment of Trump a year ago, President Trump’s Impeachment Number Two is completely unconstitutional; but you won’t hear that fact from the lips of Republican leadership. They’re too busy discussing ways to “get along” with the people who sanctioned the assault on the Capitol building and enabled the riot; the same people who brazenly stole an election and are comrades of Black Lives Matter and Antifa, cheering them on to fan the flames of real insurrection.

Pelosi’s impeachment document is a confusing, farcical 76 pages of unconstitutional tripe. Few Republicans stood up and declared this, to flatly denounce the evil document as a fraud upon the people.

There is nothing in the Constitution that supports or deals with the act of dragging a private citizen into the Senate for trial. The Senate is not part of the judicial branch or our judicial system. It cannot try a private citizen for any crime, let alone an empty impeachment hoax where there was no due process pursued and no evidence of wrongdoing. And there is also no constitutional provision excusing or legalizing the treachery or diabolical actions of elected members of any branch of the federal government or the federal bureaucracy.

Republicans in the Senate have parliamentary tools but won’t use them. It’s illegal to use the impeachment process offered in the Constitution to stop a private citizen from ever serving in government again. It does not matter if this person was recently President of the United States.

If Republican leadership agrees to this travesty, an unconstitutional precedent will be set which will be dangerous to the future of our republic. If Mitch McConnell allows this farce to proceed in the Senate, Republicans will damage our Constitution and their future as a viable political party.

Nancy Pelosi and her co-conspirator Chuck Schumer are pushing this, and Republican dupes are mindlessly agreeing to a violation of the very Constitution they swore to uphold and defend. After surrendering to massive election fraud, if Republicans participate in a new sham impeachment trial their brand will toast in 2022 and beyond.

From Newt Gingrich, one Republican who has been paying attention, “We now face a more graven threat to our self-governance from internal, anti-freedom, anti-American forces than at any time since the Civil War.”

Wake up, Republicans.

  1. Should we actually go through this process, our government has totally corrupted itself. Speaker Pelosi and Senator Schumer have made the biggest mistake in our history.
Should we as Americans be forced to waste more time and money on this total travesty of justice, because of hatred for POTUS Trump by the demonicrats, we must get full truth of the election fraud. Nothing less than full disclosure can be made or any thing less will be further violation of our Constitutional Republican government.
I don’t know about many people, but I think we should demand independent forensic audits on ballots and Dominion machines in the counties of question. Prove to us that no fraud or cheating happened.
What we’ve seen is a GIANT COVER UP
WE’RE REALLY SICK OF THIS OF THE COVER UPS.
TIME FOR THE TRUTH TO COME OUT. EITHER FRAUD HAPPENED OR IT DIDN’T. PUT THE BALLOTS AND MACHINES INTO INDEPENDENT FORENSIC AUDITS AND THEN SHOW US WHAT IS TRUTH OR IF THEY KEEP HIDING IT, THEY ARE GUILTY.
Stop playing games. One way or the other, we want to know what exactly happened.

  2. OANN has a paid program by Mike Lindell called ABSOLUTE TRUTH
    That everyone should watch
